Panda Bamboo Mattress Topper 5cm Thick - Hypoallergenic, Orthopaedic Support, Cooling HydroFoam, UK Double

We have a very firm mattress and my sleep for months has suffered because I have a Rotator Arm Disorder. It is not the fault of the firm mattress - just me! My husband prefers a firm bed because he finds it difficult to move in bed due to suffering from Parkinsons. We thought about buying a new mattress one divided into two sections one firm and one softer but as our mattress is only 7 years old the cost of this new one seemed a bit extreme. It was suggested why don't we try a Topper. Well, after trawling through all the different ones on the market, the Panda one seemed to be the best. The reviews appeared to be complimentary, so we bit the bullet and ordered one for our King size bed even though it was quite expensive compared to others. It is now two weeks since we have experienced our purchase and at first it did seem a little strange but as you get used to it it's like laying on a feather bed but supportive at the same time. My husband does not find it too difficult and copes with it well. We both are sleeping better and it is so much more comfortable for my shoulder. Some reviews said they did not like the smell but I must say that we gave it over 24 hours to recover from it's packing before we put it on the bed and there was no odd smell at all. It does get quite warm but do not find we are overheating, in fact, now that winter is approaching I think it is going to be very cosy. It certainly is well worth the money and much cheaper than a new mattress. We are both retired so do not have to get up too early but now my husband has to push me out of bed! The Panda Topper is an excellent product but you do have to give it a chance for your body to adapt. I have also bought a Panda Pillow. Now that does take much longer to get used to and there is a strange smell which after a couple of weeks is only just leaving the pillow. It is very good if you do not mind putting your head on a pillow that is nothing like an ordinary pillow, it is very firm. But as I have said about the Topper your body needs time to adapt and now my neck is feeling much, much better. Thank you Panda.

I’ve had this topper for a few weeks now, it came quickly and packaged well (the outer box was a little damp and damaged which may have been via the courier which was a little disappointing though)It rolls out of the package nice and easy, I found no odour at all and never have whilst using the product. I let it sit on its own on the mattress for around 12 hours and was fine and flattened out. Fits the bed fine, it’s a tiny bit too big with a cm over on the verticals, perfect on length, but I really don’t mind this.I don’t think it really adds any warmth, or not noticeably for me. The thickness is good, and adds softness while remaining firm from my mattress. It doesn’t slip around at all.It has helped me with some back aches after the first night, and makes the mattress and bed feel more luxurious.The only issues I had (which I can’t believe I didn’t think of prior) is that obviously the added size and volume added to the mattress means my king size sheet no longer fits the bed so I had to buy a deep fitted one, and the duvet comes up shorter on the bed too but that’s fine really

I bought this at the beginning of the caravan season, as last year I contended with sleeping on the side sofas in my caravan. I also have long standing back issues and was struggling to and put off with sleeping in the caravan. Regardless of mattress i felt i will always have problems. I don't have a full bed in my caravan but needed something quick and easy that would enable me to convert the single sofas to a double bed. I was very impressed with quick delivery, the chemical smell was short lived, and quite impressed how it opened up to make a decent mattress. It was thicker than I expected I bought the one 190cm in length and being tall i wish i bought one at least 200cm, but it's no big deal.I have to say, having slept on it a few weekends now, i am getting an incredibly decent and comfortable nights sleep so much so that its much better than the bed at home. I look forward to sleeping at the caravan at weekends, it does feel cool and comfortable, and with a quilt I found myself to be more than comfortable. As I sit here and type in the caravan, i feel my back aching and in pain, but know the mattress will be comfortable and has far exceeded my expectations. I expected all this advertising to be hype and bull, and find to be honest, it isn't hype and certainly not bull.... Now... my biggest next problem is deciding on a topper for my mattress at home so i can sleep better there.. I feel extremely confident that a Panda Topper will be an awesome addition at home, and not just at the caravan...

Great night’s sleep from first night of use. Easily unraveled when placed on bed and last layer of plastic removed. Fit to size (small double is great). Slight odour but not unpleasant.

I don't review very often but I'm so pleased with this mattress topper I just had to. I've been struggling with a lack of sleep for months. Tossing and turning and just not able to sleep through the night. I wanted a new memory foam mattress topper but there aren't that many brands selling them. I'd heard of Panda before but didn't know a lot about them.I saw this topper in the Black Friday sale and thought I'd take a chance. It's so comfy! I've been sleeping so much better. I'm actually sleeping heavier too so don't get disturbed by noises through the night. I've been waking up without aches and pains and just enjoy laying on my bed so much more.So glad I took a chance on this. I bought a single topper with 5 cm depth which is just the right about of padding for me. Great value. The size fits perfectly to my single mattress with strong adjustable straps to keep it attached to your mattress.

First class delivery, having bought a mattress topper from this brand before it speaks volumes that I am buying again this time a double. Support yes but able to sink into it and almost to feel enveloped giving comfort to my aches and pains, leading on to a decent nights rest. To have a great guarantee is a big bonus.
