Stain Remover, Gold Oxi Action Powder, 1.41kg, Removes Stains Laundry Detergent Leave Behind, Protects Fabric Colours and Removes Odours, Bleach Free

Having recently converted from my normal big brand of washing powder to a more Ecological product I found the stain removal was nowhere near as good, so I turned to this product to help boost the stain removal properties of my new detergent. Vanish has a nice scent comes in a tub and is supplied with a measuring spoon, so now I add this to my everyday wash and the product easily removed day to day stains like baked bean juice , ketchup etc. With more problematic stains I have Pre soaked the garment as per the instructions and had great results. It does not seem to damage/fade colours leaving your clothes just as good as when you put them in the wash. Having two messy boys , who’s clothes are inevitably regularly covered with various stains ranging from grass and mud to spag Bol and other food/drink stains it takes out the stress out of the daily routine of going through each garment individually looking for stains to try and pre treat. Just bung in the recommended dose in your wash and your covered. This product is expensive , but much cheaper here on Amazon than other retail outlets and is now added to my monthly subscribe and save , making it even better value. Also much cheaper than keep replacing clothes that you have missed the stains on and washed to find they can no longer be removed. You can used this product both with whites and coloured items saving you to have two types of stain removal products Highly recommend

Good value for money works good

Very large tub so it will last most people quite some time. Seemed to be cheaper than supermarket prices during a previous discounted price. I’ve never really noticed any discernible difference between the different varnish stain removers. Seems to do the job on clothes. I’ve always found that using this product outside of the washing machine (which is suggested for stubborn stains on the packaging) is tricky due to the granules not being readily absorbed by water. Saying that, it did well on an ink stain I got on the carpet when I eventually got some to dissolve. However, equally I have noticed other similar ink stains on a towel are not removed. Hence, the product effectiveness is variable. It feel is would be useful to more clearly outline the stains or removes. Dr Beckmann’s products do seem to be more consistent at removing the stain they advertise although the products seem to be targeted at very specific stains. Overall, not a bad general clothes stain remover but is a bit hit and miss.

This stuff is fantastic. I’ve spent quite a bit of money trying different stain removers that were absolute rubbish and didn’t work at all! This stuff is awesome. I use a scoop in every wash and granted it doesn’t pull out every stain but it does work on the majority of stains. For anything a bit more stubborn, like tomato for example, I also use a separate rub on vanish stain remover. You can use this as a pre treatment, although I have yet to use it as one, but I wonder if that would yield better results on tomato stains for example rather than just putting a scoop in the wash. Love it for my coloureds, darks and white washes. It definitely helps to brighten my whites and removes every trace of dirt from white socks. It’s incredible stuff and I will continue to purchase, I actually have it on subscribe and save. Highly recommend this to brighten those whites and coloureds, and to remove dirt and stains out of clothing!

I normally use Biz laundry booster (excellent product). But, I gave this a try and have not been disappointed. I think it works slightly better (it has a couple of additional cleaning ingredients). Just a note...the gold lid is the fast acting formula for washes that take 30 minutes or less. Depending on country, the regular lid (pink) can have different ingredients. But, the gold lid is always the good stuff.

Works better than any US made detergent without a doubt!
