Never tried it before. Thought it was the TV kind of product they advertise at 2:am.The only reason I bought was that a friend uses it and I liked it. It may just be linseed oil but it lasts months on his cars.

This stuff is great! I use it in all my restored cast iron tools. Vises, anvils any old tool that you want to keep the original patina on. Gives a good clean finish and repels rust. It dries to a hard non oily finish that is a little shiny, but it does hold up to the "abuse" that vises and anvils are subject to. Eventually it will wear, but I generally wipe down my tools regularly so now I have the perfect product.

Used this to clean up an old steamer truck I'm restoring. Helped shine up hardware & left a nice sheen.
