These things are great!! I've already bought 4. I bought 2 for my kitchen sinks and my grandparents took off with both of them for their kitchen sinks so I had to buy myself 2 more. I had to return one because it wouldn't hold water but the company replaced it quickly the next day. They fit my sinks perfectly and I love that I can just pull the little basket out to empty it in the trash without having to pull the whole strainer out. And you just push the little button in the center and it acts as a stopper so you can fill your sink with water. I just leave them in place at all times. No more having to pull the strainer out and leave it sitting on the edge of the sink to dry. Will buy more if I ever have to replace them.

***7/1/25 Updated review: I hate to waste things & money so I was determined to figure this out to continue use. The concept is such an excellent idea! Surely they are salvageable. Found out 2 things:1)when you remove the drain insert, the ‘knob’ that it sits had become loose/unscrewed. That can alter the integrity of the device…thankfully it did not break! I simply tightened the screw & voila!2)The seller is integral - they saw my review & quickly reached out to offer to me whole. I absolutely LOVE that! On that alone, I will be a loyal customer. No refund needed-satisfied with my product!!Not sure what changed but these worked perfect for exactly 30 days :(

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Saw a similar product on Tik Tok and knew immediately that it was something I needed, that was over a year ago, this is my second one from this seller. I had to buy a 2nd one because one of the kids misplaced the piece needed to stop the water from flowing. This is such a necessity to my daily kitchen needs, especially when washing fruits and vegetables. I love this.

These stoppers? Chef’s kiss. They work like a charm and do exactly what they’re supposed to. BUT—can we talk about the little rubber ring at the bottom? Yeah, the one quietly plotting a mold takeover if you dare forget to clean it for five minutes. The ring helps it fit snugly, sure, but also apparently doubles as a mildew magnet. It really would make sense if they sold those rubber rings separately for easy replacement—but no such luck. Anyway, if you're not into growing your own science experiment, give them a good scrub regularly. You’ve been warned.

I have been trying to find this type of sink strainer/plug for some time. I had seen it in a short video and wanted it. I ordered it without measuring, hoping it would fit my standard drainage hole. It did fit perfectly and I love it. You put it in and all you have to do is push the middle piece down to stop the water and fill the sink. Or you push the middle piece again to raise it up to drain. Just a push down to stop up the water, push again to drain the sink, no trying to dig it up. It doesn't tip sideways so it keeps any scraps in it to toss in trash.This should have been invented years ago. I would highly recommend it. If it will fit in your sink buy it.

I bought 2 types and both seal and work great! I set a little water in the sink and it's held. I think I will trust THIS one with the grey-blue silicone backing. It seems to jug the drain a little better but both are doing awesome. I also got these because of fruit flies...and no more!

Figured if I’m going back to buy another one I should write a review. Fits and works great. Does exactly what it’s supposed to and looks better than the old versions. Very easy to dump out and clean any food. I’m wary to put anything down the disposal since a couple plumbing issues.

The product is well made and works.Unfortunately delivery is poor. I've requested delivery in lower boxes due to age. And it was delivered in the top box and rear section. Needed assistance to retrieve product. It was a waste of time contacting Amazon since delivery hasn't changed
