I use this to make herbal tea. It seems fresh and is strong depending on how you brew it. Great quality and volume for cost

I drink hibiscus tea for the great taste and to stay hydrated, along with the health benefits. This product is great quality, no need to sift through the flowers to look for stones or other materials. I make 1 gallon and drink throughout the week. This could easily replace kid’s kool aid or fruit punch type of drinks, with a natural red color and a great flavor without too much sugar per serving. And a fun science trick, add a little squeeze of lime or lemon juice, or better yet pineapple juice, and the tea turns from red to a purple/blue! The bag doesn’t have instructions for brewing. I use 1 cup of flowers for one gallon of tea. I boil 2 liters/quarts of water and pour that over the dried flowers in a juice pitcher. I let it steep for a while as I like my tea strong. Then add 1 cup or so of sugar, honey, or agave syrup for a sweetener to a gallon jug. Then strain the tea as I pour the warm tea into the gallon. Seal the lid, give it a gentle shake to dissolve the sweetener, carefully remove the lid (steam can build up pressure) then top it off with cold water.

I love the smell of this tea and the taste is very pleasing to my palette. A little goes a long way. Will be ordering again. AnnJ, GA

Great for making jamaica - I use about a half cup of this, 6 TBLSP of sugar, and about 1.5l of boiling water. This brand used to come as "big leaves" where as now it seems come "chopped" (I'm sure it's for packaging - the weight is the same but the package is 1/2 the volume of the old style) - it's altered the flavor (the old-style was a bit more "delicate") but it's still good hibiscus. But I would love to see it go back to the "whole leaf" form.

Big pieces and fresh leaves. Vibrant flavor and good quality. Price is comparable to other brands. There’s no instructions on the package so trial and error to suit your taste.
