I have been using this product sparingly for about 2 years now. It works well, however, it takes around 1h30min to fully heat up a meal. It’s no issue if you plan ahead.. otherwise it’s a good product!

I bought this ten months ago, intending to write a review after a couple of months, but better late than never. I bought this as a stop gap as I couldn't get the one I wanted. It has proved so good that I haven't bought the other one. For the price it is amazing, works well and my food is ready in 45min tops. My wife puts my food in foil trays on a Sunday, as I work away during the week, and I pop one in the heater when I want to eat. No problems with 12v or 24v sockets getting hot. which I had with previous boxes, and the food is always piping hot. It has been used at least three nights a week, almost every week since I bought it and it is still going strong. Does exactly what it needs to do, and does it better than my last one, which cost more than double what this cost. It has proved a great buy, no more eating in cafes, or fast food places. I can have home cooked food, quick and easily, whenever I want.

Takes about an hour to heat pre-cooked food to a nice hot, but not burning meal temperature. On the unit I received, the compartment to store the mini spoon and fork wouldn't stay shut properly, but no big deal really. Easy to clean. There is a rubber vent on the lid to exhaust the heated air, so it will vent the smell of whatever you are heating. If you are heating a curry in the office then the office will get a whiff of curry, but no more than if you heated it in a microwave. I'm not convinced it's leak proof because of the fit of the lid and the rubber vent on the lid, but I haven't tested this so not marking it down for that. I put my food in an old takeaway container that fits in the unit. Heats up nicely and only have to clean the takeaway container and lid instead of the stainless steel bowl and plastic lid of the lunchbox. Bit concerned that the 12/24 volt dc connection is the same connector type as the 240V ac connection next to it. Hopefully there is some sort of built in protection if you plug it in the wrong socket. I'm sure there must be for this product to have been licenced. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. Would recommend.
