Comet CTC-50M Comet Window Through Cable

Works as advertised.

Great passthrough cable. I have run 100w ft8 through it (higher than recommended). Much better than the no name ones and is flexible.

Excellent for applications that require no drilling through walls

This is a good quality cable that I can route through a window rather than cut a hole in my wall. It works perfectly and I get a good SWR.

Works well. Very thin and flat.

This cable did not work well for me. Another example of buy cheap get cheap. When I closed the window, the signal stopped. I replaced this cable with one from Ham Radio Outlet. The replacement cable is working well.

Easy to install. I have verified it works for vhf/uhf. Considering that SO-239 connectors are not suggested for this range, it works better than I expected. HF is expected to be excellent. You must be careful when placing it (and never UNDER the window) it appears to be rugged enough to survive in a window that doesn’t get opened a lot. The built-in mounting blocks save a lot of wear and tear. Recommended !

works well does what it supposed to do

これまで同じものを2個使っていましたが、アンテナ増設に合わせ買い足しました。HF～UHFまで使っていますが、アマチュア無線の送信でもSWRの悪化は殆ど無く、50W送信でも問題なく使えています。

建具（サッシ）枠の竪枠の形状（特に障子の戸当り）が狭くて折り曲げは難しいと判断しました。無理に設置できたとしてもクレセントが閉まらないと判断しました。 下枠の端部に結露水の溝が切ってあったのでそこを通してます。ケーブルを痛めないように障子を閉めるのに苦労しましたが画像のように綺麗に納まっています。 価格が高いのと、十分に薄いとは思いますがもう少しケーブルが薄くて柔らかいと使用範囲は広がるなと感じてます。
