The product is good and tastes good, at par with bob's oats and at half the price. So i guess its worth the money. Takes quite some time to get cooked. Had to put it in water overnight and then pressure cook it for like 15 mins or so... The package that had the oats was made of paper which i found was torn when i opened the carton and grains of oats all over in the carton. I suppose they should improve on the packaging front.

I love Sattvic Foods and all they stand for. These are the real deal steel cut oats. Definitely take a little longer to cook but are also so much more nutritious and delicious. Recommend to soak overnight or for a few hours before preparing to speed up cooking time. Love to eat them sweet or savoury. Definitely recommend this product and love to support a Goan company offering great products to the public.

I’ve changed over from branded instant oats to steel cut ones. This one is good - I do wash it before soaking but there’s no dirt . It’s as good as the ones I got from abroad. Although steel cut oats need pre soaking, I switched over as it’s healthier. Takes about 15-20 mins to cook. Sometimes, I use it for overnight oats too (need to be in the fridge for at least 2-3 days) and alternate this with whole rolled oats. I keep the instant oats for making oat breads/muffins. Could be a little less expensive .

Gave 1 rating but this doesn't even deserve 1 because we give ratings on a product but this doesn't even a product; it's a scam. A complete scam. I hate this steel cut oats. Whoever is making this, please stop making it anymore and stop fooling people. Even the instructions provided are completely wrong and misguided. I tried the overnight oats as mentioned in the packet and got disappointed as I couldn't enjoy it because it wasn't eatable. And then I tried the soaking method then again got disappointed as it's taking too much time to cook. Cooked it for about 30 mins or long n when I served it to eat it was not cooked properly then again had to put it on flame to cook. Worst experience ever. Please guys, don't purchase it. You're gonna regret.
