With summer coming we got these tanks for our son. They are soft and are very stretchy. He is 8. We got 9-10 for him and they fit very well. Not to big but still a little room to grow. He is an average sized boy. I would get again and worth the value. They also did not seem to shrink after a hot water wash and after going through the dryer.
