I used this on a recent trip to 3 different countries. Each country had very different weather going from hot summer temperatures to very cold winter temperatures. This neck pillow was large enough to store my winter coat when I didn’t need it. So it saved me a lot of room in my luggage, helped me to sleep well on the plane, and I used it as an “extra” carry on. I also stored my phone charger and other little things I needed to have easy access to. Definitely recommend!

It wasn’t as comfortable as the pillows given out on international flights. However, it’s great for taking extra clothing for traveling.

My daughter was headed to a conference where she was to give an important presentation, when her luggage was misdirected. She had to speak at the conference while wearing the printed T-shirt and jeans she'd traveled in. When I gave her this stuffable neck pillow, she immediately realized what a good idea this was. A person may only be able to take a limited number of luggage pieces on the plane, but a pillow doesn't count as one - and this one is both a pillow AND an "emergency" set of clothes and anything else that a person might not want to have disappear on a trip.

The idea is great. Actual execution is not. Once stuffed it would not wrap around my neck tight enough to hold my head. I tried more stuffing, less stuffing, and rearranging the stuffing, I could not get the long strap to pull tight enough to be effective as a travel neck support.

My wife took this in her suitcase to be able to use for stuffing clothes in on her way back after getting souvenirs in Greece. The airlines allow you to carry this pillow without making it one of your items. Packing this allows you to transfer clothes over to it if your bag is to heavy. It allows you to make more room in your suitcase for items that you may have purchased on your trip without having to pay for an extra bag or heavy fees - so its a good value. Caution - you would have to pack it just right to get it to lay the way you want if you want to use it as a pillow.

This pillow was gifted to a friend who was traveling to Scotland for vacation. She filled it with soft clothing that she rolled into a tube shape so it would flex in a curve when she used the neck pillow. She loved how easy it was to fill with her clothing and how nice it was to have a shoulder strap to not have to carry it with her hands. The pillow also folds flat when not needed making it easy to store in your carry on bag. She is quite happy with it.

This is the second one of these stuffable neck pillows that we've got since we found the one we have is very useful since we fly "budget" airlines. This one has a plastic clasp on only a single metal ring on one side. Much better. You have to be a little careful to position it so the clasps are not against your neck but this design is much better than a full-metal design.The ability to carry more clothing when you don't want to pay for carry-on far outweighs the little annoyance of the clasp. This will be as soft as you make it - so choose your clothes to put in it wisely.

I have yet to use this on a flight but I very much like the idea of this and sure hope it works. I can image that it will be perfect for my puffy collapsable jacket. I always plan a winter getaway to escape the cold and this would make a comfy pillow. I like the feel of the velvet fabric but wonder if it will start to collect fuzzies during my travels.
