PALO Ergonomic Footrests (PALO001)

Bought one in 2016 and the second one in 2019 both are still going strong for almost a decade, extremely reliable and very high quality, highly recommended.

I bought the footrest because my table's height was a little high and raising my chair's height simply meant my legs would dangle. The product is very easy to use and can be rotated around its axis to suit one's needs, hence my feet firmly rest on a surface now. It is really easy to clean as well since it is all plastic. Would recommend despite its high price.

Product quality is ok however no mechanism to stop at one place. It keeps rolling

This is good, the plastic appears sturdy, but I could not find any material markings, so there is no way to tell if the plastic used is appropriate for the purpose. One does not feel any flexes or squeaks when putting ones feet on it. The angle adjustment is fine and just stiff enough that it does not move on its own. The texture on the surface is good and even serves a massaging function when used barefoot. I would have liked to have it a couple inches higher, but not a problem as I can always prop it up with something at the bottom. It is costly though.

I bought this item around in the second fortnight of January 2022. By end of one year of use, I saw a full length hairline crack developing width-wise right in the Center. Over the next few months, the crack became prominent & the item started to get deformed along the crack. By 18 months of use, the crack has cut the item into two parts. So basically we can say that there is a major design fault with the item and it needs strengthening with additional ridges in the area where the crack develops. Therefore, due to lack of sturdiness, this item lacks durability. Hence on grounds of poor quality, I am giving it poor rating.

Decided to buy this after researching a few options. Haven’t been disappointed. This model has a rubberized platform which stops the feet from slipping. The adjustable angle also helps align the feet for maximum comfort. The price is on the higher side for a plastic molded item. So 3 stars for value for money.

Much better footrest for WFH needs compared to those wooden ones which you see for 1000-1200 on Amazon. This is angle adjustable and does not slip. Looks sturdy enough but I wouldn't put full weight on it. Price is 2000, bit too high. Anything between 1200-1400 would make it a great deal.

We purchased one of these on 31 May 2021, so its been over 3 years we have been using this, its quite sturdy and easily adjustable, no issues till date and now buying one more of since we now have two desks.
