I ordered these as I love a different snack and these looked really interesting. Although some of them do taste really nice and are very moreish, there are quite a few negatives and things to think about before you order them. The packaging is a box which shows the front three tubs of nuts. The box itself has the details of the company on but no ingredients, so if you have an allergy, you're unable to read the ingredients of these products first. I am allergic to paprika. I couldn't see until I opened the packaging that one of the boxes of nuts does have paprika as an ingredient. The little tubs are 40grams. They have a foil top which you peel off. This can't then go back on. There is no way to reseal them after opening. This isn't great as although they are only 40grams, I'd like to be able to eat a few and then put these away... so it's a bit annoying not having a lid. The ingredients are listed but are very small and in a very narrow font so very difficult to read. They are listed in several languages which just makes it so hard to read as they're crammed on. I was able to see that the spicy peanuts do contain paprika... and lots of e numbers too - 7 e numbers! There are also e numbers in the chocolate coated peanuts too. Taste-wise - my husband tried the spicy peanuts as I can't have them as they contain paprika. He said they're really nice and he gives them 9/10 for taste, he's put off by the enumbers though. The chocolate peanuts are so tasty and moreish, they're very nice! The salted cashews? Far too salty. So overall, this looks nicely presented in the box so it would make a nice gift, but if anyone has an allergy or needs to know the ingredients for whatever reason you can't see in advance and even when you do open it up they're very difficult to read. I think 3/5 stars as they do taste nice, but the various negatives noted do let them down.

I'm not a huge fan of nuts myself, so I was happy to let my daughter take the lead on the taste test. She really loved the chocolate nuts - once she had unstuck them from the clumps they were in - gave them 11/10 for flavour. They were her favourite but she also loved the cashews and the peanuts. They are small tins, and it look like you are expected to finish them in one sitting, as they cannot be resealed once open. Ordered the Salysol snack set recently, and I’ve got to say, they’re pretty nice! The small tins are a good size for snacking and you get a variety of chocolate peanuts, spicy peanuts, and cashews. The chocolate peanuts were definitely the star of the show in my house. The nuts are crunchy, with just the right amount of chocolate coating, and they went down a treat with everyone. The packaging feels quite premium with the metal tins, though it’s a bit tricky to get the last few nuts out without tipping the whole thing over! I think a resealable bag might have worked better. That said, it’s a nice little set for sharing or even just keeping as a quick snack option. The spicy peanuts weren’t particularly hot, more of a tangy kick, which worked for me. The cashews were good too, nothing out of the ordinary, just simple, salted goodness. I reckon these would be a solid addition to a care package or even just to have out when guests are over. The only slight downside for me was the tins not being resealable. Once you’ve opened them, it’s pretty much a case of finishing them off, or they’ll go stale quickly. But overall, the taste is on point, and the variety is nice if you’re into nuts.
