This works as well as any other oil of this sort I’ve tried, but was hoping for a little more given the price and natural ingredients. It does smell nice which is a plus and rubs in well to reach the root, but takes around 20-30 minutes depending on how much hair you have to move around. It washes out without leaving any greasy residue as some can and my scalp feels soft for the next day, but unfortunately doesn’t last long. I do have psoriasis though which will have an effect, but was hoping for something that would help with that.

I've brought all Ayumi hair oils and this one is good for dry itchy scalp. Good quality oil and ingredients.

I love their toiletries but this did nothing for me and ruined a pillowcase as I tried leaving it in overnight but I guess that was my decision

Good quality and contains many active ingredients. The oil is best used warm, dip your fingers in it and massage scalp for several minutes then coat the rest of hair and leave it on overnight with a cap, wash with mild shampoo in morning. Definitely increases hair health.

​This product has lots of wholesome ingredients, and I don't doubt that protracted use of the product in accord with the instructions on the bottle would cause your hair and scalp to become healthier over a period of time. I have now used it twice and I can confirm that use in accord with instructions is what we in the North of England would call "a right faff". I've included a photo of the label, since the ad doesn't seem to mention how to use it. I had my wife massage it into my scalp and roots (don't really know how you'd get to roots without touching scalp, but that's a different question) for 15 (!) minutes, then rubbed it all over my hair, and went to bed. Got up to a very oily pillow (it smelled lovely, though) and went for a shower to wash it out. My hair did not feel any different to how it usually does. I honestly feel that any benefits accruing from the use of the oil owe more the 15-20 minute long massage rather than the oil used, and I just don't have the time or patience to sit through this 15-20 minute long massage 2 or 3 times a week, so I cannot receommend this oil. I do feel that they should be a lot more up-front in the ad about the investment of time and effort that "proper" use of the product demands.

I am not a fan of tea tree in general but i quite enjoy this oil. It's soothing, moisturising and it lasts a while, depending on how often you use it.
