I bought this to replace a metal bird bath. This one seems so much better! I use the planter part for critter food. I put wax paper in it cover the holes so food won’t filter through. All our little visitors love it! I contacted the seller because the solar light wasn’t working but they let us know there’s a switch inside that needs to be turned on. My husband found it and now it works. I wish it was brighter but it’s still pretty! I’m hoping it holds up during all the different seasons here in Michigan. It is lightweight so I’m worried about it blowing over in high winds but it does come with stakes to keep it anchored into the ground. We have it on our patio for now so not using stakes. I love the bronze color!

This is a true beauty. The hummingbirds love this. I put their nectar inside, attract them so that I may marvel at and adore them. Nice price, ease of assembly, and a decently price. Water capacity it good also.

Plastic but beautiful

This looks pretty but has several issues. First, the light doesn’t last that long (not meaning overnight, but over time, it stops working completely). Second, if using real flowers in the tray below, the flowers are often shaded due to the fountain above rather than getting good sunshine. Third, if using on dirt or grass, it is hard to get it to be staked down such that it stays level. And most importantly for me, it is too small to hold the water with a little solar fountain inside it as the fountain just throws the water out with any wind whatsoever. Go for a larger fountain without the little light or flower tray. You will be glad you did. You can see that I filled two of this kind of bird bath and one larger one all with water about an hour ago. Not which one stays working with the fountain inside.

Update.. my mistake.. this bird bath is very sturdy and comes with ground stakes for better secure hold. My bad review was for the solar water fountain that I put in the upper bird bath. I give the birdbath 5 stars The concept is very nice, but the water runs out within 10 minutes. And in order for the solar fountain to work, you have to keep refilling it every few minutes

Assembly was easy but the light didn't work. On a cooler night, I decided to figure out why. The strike plate to the wire was not in the right position for contact. I pushed it oner for contact and it has since then shone all night and stays on until the earliest of day where it once again starts to store solar energy. I had issues getting the bowl to sit evenly so water wouldn't spill over. Placement, however has an effect on how well it functions (especially with a water pump in it). There isn't a perfect place on my lawn so I moved it to the walkway closest to the house and hedges. The birds even seem happier. During the day, they love to chill out in my holly bushes (and poo).

Got this a while back, but didn't get a chance to set it up until today! It was very easy to set up, took me less than 5 minutes to put everything together, I didn't think that the light would come on since we put it out in our yard around 7PM, but the light came on, I am so happy with it! The color is beautiful, it looks very pretty out in our backyard! Highly recommended!

This is a very attractive bird bath and we like the elegant look A little disappointed that the solar panel does not work on the the one we received even though it gets direct sun on it for all morning and afternoon. Also note that if you plant live plants in the base they will not receive rain water because the bason blocks it. I will plant artificial flowers there another time.

Looks expensive and yet very light and easy to assemble. The solar operated night light is lovely, just make sure you do not forget to switch it on before finishing the assembly. Quick delivery.

A lot smaller than I expected, but big enough for birds. The light works. It is very cute. I didn't read the full description so for some reason I expected it to be ceramic of something, but it's think plastic. Planter is also small, so I just filled it with pinecones and put rocks at the base as it is lightweight. They do give you pins to hold it down too. I love the style and everything, just wish it was bigger.

We must have approx 40 birds using this every day. We placed birdseed at the bottom instead of flowers!

I haven't seen the bird baths. However I was very disappointed to hear that they were plastic. However my son is pleased with them. I feel that that the customer is misled! THE ITEM APPEARED TO BE BRONZE!.....There was no mention of plastic. They are pleasing to look at !
