Super convenient, powerful, easy to use and move around
These Solix batteries are awesome. I use a first-gen on my sump pump for when the power fails during storms. Have another first-gen and this new gen-two to use on a standup freezer and my refrigerator. These are simple to use, the app is completely sensible and easy to follow, and they just work perfectly.Heavy, but small enough to carry around easily when you need to move them. They charge quickly and have a ton of ports for devices and AC devices. If you live in an area with flaky power and cannot get a whole-house generator, these are excellent. I wouldn't even bother with a gas-powered portable generator. To bridge a gap of a few hours a couple of these are great, instead of running outside in a thunderstorm, hoping you have gas, and starting up a regular generator. These things just work immediately.

Perfect Camping Essential!
The Anker Solix C1000 is an excellent portable power station that exceeded my expectations. With a capacity of 1024 Wh, it provided ample power for a wide range of devices during my camping trip. I was impressed by how quickly it charged my phone, laptop, and camera, even running a small fan and lights simultaneously without any issues. The Solix C1000 boasts a variety of outlets, including USB-A and USB-C ports, AC outlets, and a car socket, making it versatile for different devices. The built-in display is clear and user-friendly, showing the remaining battery life, input/output power, and charging status.Despite its impressive capabilities, the Solix C1000 is surprisingly compact and portable, making it easy to carry along on outdoor adventures or to have as a backup power source at home. The durable build quality and sturdy handle add to its appeal, ensuring it can withstand regular use. While it may be a bit pricey compared to some other portable power stations on the market, the Anker Solix C1000 justifies its price tag with its impressive performance, versatility, and build quality. It's a reliable and convenient power solution for anyone in need of portable power for camping, road trips, or emergency situations.

Great alternative to a gas generator.
This is the best solution for power while camping. We ran lights in a cabin all evening. Then ran a microwave in the morning for breakfast, and only 28% of the battery was used. I plugged in the solar panels after breakfast, and it was fully charged by lunch. No noise, no gas cans, just power. Then just connect the solar panels during the day and recharge.Anker customer service is the best. Anker offers a 30-day price match. I purchased this a few days before a $50 price reduction. I contacted them and provided my invoice. I was refunded the $50 immediately. This is the 3rd Anker product I own and have not been disappointed by any of them.

Excellent battery; it’s exactly what I was looking for!
I LOVE this battery! I use it often when going grocery shopping- plugging in my portable car fridge/freezer (as I don’t like to keep the fridge plugged into my car when I’m shopping for fear that it will drain my car battery). I have also used this battery on our long winter road trip up the East Coast (again, in conjunction with my fridge), as well as charging my laptop, iPad, and cell phone. It holds a charge for a long time (I have yet to have it die on me with anything I’ve charged it with); I will also charge it full and then leave it for a couple weeks- and it is still at a full charge.I just bought some solar panels for it - but a different brand, so I’m hoping they fit! I’ve had this battery for about 6 months or so now and am very happy with my purchase. I feel safe in any emergency- knowing I can keep our food cold with this battery, as well as plug in any phones and fans that we may need- should the power go out for a long period of time (or a natural disaster happen to hit). It is a bit heavy, but it’s powerful and worth lifting a few extra pounds around when moving it.💪

Why no expansion port?? (Update: Anker says it is to reduce weight; offered an exchange.)
So, to begin, other than a spooky Overload Protection error on one of the usb C ports when it was used for the very first time (it seems to work now), it works quite well! It holds a substantial amount of energy and lasts a very long time on one charge. I even tested the AC plugs with my Microwave and they also work well.A major disappointment, however, is the lack of any sort of port for a battery expansion like the Gen 1 Solix C1000 has. That makes this power station a downgrade from the Gen 1, despite the upgrades to the user interface and charge speed. They also removed one AC plug on the Gen 2 (the Gen 1 has six plugs) which isn't that big of a deal, but bigger number better, so... y'know.(Update: Anker has contacted me stating that they removed the expansion port and one of the AC ports from the Gen 2 in order to reduce weight and increase portability. This is reasonable, considering it is noticeably lighter than the Gen 1. But at the cost of what is, in my opinion, an excellent versatility feature, it is still a disappointing omission. They did, however, offer to exchange my Gen 2 for a Gen 1, which was a pleasant surprise! At the very least, this means I can recommend the Gen 2 more than I could previously. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ --> ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)I would recommend this for portable, high-power use cases. But if you plan to use it as a whole-home backup power solution, get the Gen 1 (along with an expansion battery) or perhaps one of Anker's larger (but much more expensive) F series power stations.

Good, but could of keep some items from the previous generation/version, tho!
It was good and working, like it has a clock for screen saver, but I'm disappointed that it doesn't have the following:1) didn't have a light like the previous generation/version.2) didn't come with the solar male and female adapters, which had 3 male and 3 female adapters plug for solar cables, as the previous generation/version...3) this generation/version doesn't have the plug/port for the extra battery pack or whatever it's called, and the previous generation/version had it, & this one doesn't have it, from what I can see and tell. But like it has the clock and can control the battery in the app how it charged and such, and has storm protection/guard too...
