I mentioned that I will update after I get the replacement. Here it is. I got the replacement, And the product still has lower alarm than I expected, but it was much much better than the first ones I received, so it seems like I got one from a bad batch. But more importantly, I got a message from the vendor just two days after my first review, as to what they would do to correct the situation. So I called Amazon CS to follow-up on that. And that's when the nightmare started. I was on the chat line with Amazon for 1 1/2 hours, and during that time I was switched around between 5 CS reps. They all asked me for the screen shot of what the vendor had sent me (which was surprising to me, since the V responded on the Amazon site) and they should have had a copy of that, but after I sent them the screen shot, they somehow changed seats and a new CS rep came on and asked me for the same thing again. Seems like they were never looking at the previous conversation at all. Finally, the last one confirmed that he had received the screen shot but was not allowed to give me the refund based on Amazon's internal policies. And wanted the product back before they could do that. And that is after the vendor had authorized a refund.That seemed to me that Amazon was more interested in making profits rather than take care of the customer.So my advice to those buying from Amazon is this. Please be aware that Amazon will find any way NOT TO GIVE YOU A REFUND if for some reason, you end up with a bad product from a batch. I must also tell you that I have been buying from Amazon every month for 5+ years, and this was the only time I was asking for a refund. What a fiasco!!!!Great product in concept, and should be a great addition to your work productivity, but in my case the Loudest alarm was so soft that it is barely audible. I asked for a replacement, Let's see if this was a fluke or a common issue. I will tell once the replacement arrives

I purchased this time at the recommendation of my psychiatrist and it has been a vital daily tool throughout my workday. I have diagnosed ADHD and struggle with staying on task. I work remotely as a bookkeeper eight hours a day and my mind tends to wander off very frequently. I was starting to make a lot of small errors in my work related to reversing numbers in money amounts, calculating formulas wrong and so on. These errors were not typical for me and I was starting to get really frustrated. Since I purchased this Pomadero timer, I can set 25 minute increments for work and when the timer goes off, I take a 5 minute break that involves anything but looking at spreadsheets/figures. The timer itself has been of great value! A small price to pay for more accurate work! The timer has different volume options with an option to vibrate only which is the option I choose to use. This makes it great so that I don't distract my husband who also works remotely from home. Easy to ready, bright display and easy to set. The timer is fairly small so it takes up minimal space on my desk.

Sitting at the desk all day is not good for you. There's lots of ergonomic tools out there, but one of the best things you can do is free - get up and stretch, move around, don't stay static. You could use your phone to set reminders, but this little timer is so much easier and doesn't distract you. Just flip it on the appropriate side and you immediately have a 5min timer or a 10 minute timer. Flip it back up to pause. When it's muted, it vibrates instead of beeping - I love that!I use this every day to remind myself to get up and stretch every 30 minutes or so. It doesn't matter what fancy office chair or ergonomic keyboard you have - if you don't stay static, and if you stretch throughout the day, you'll solve or prevent a majority of office related strain. Highly recommended.

I wanted a non-fussy and easy to use timer at my desk. I also use it to get ready and keep myself on track. There's a lot to love about it:- Flip it around to change the timer (pause / reset / different time)- USB-C charger (battery life is pretty long)- You can turn off the sound and use vibration instead- It automatically shuts off- The screen is a good size, and the numbers are easy to see- Doesn't feel flimsy at all- Adjustable settingsNo complaints about it. Would buy it again.

Works good enough so I don’t have to use my cell phone timer for grilling. Only complaint is switches on back could be easier to quickly read. I placed a blue painters tape “arrow” pointing to the on/off switch since it’s identical to the other switch.
