Great Golf Sim Camera
I purchased the SVPRO 12MP USB Camera to pair with an indoor Foresight GC Quad simulator. It’s a fantastic tool for anyone needing a high-quality webcam for swing analysis. Image Quality The camera delivers stunning clarity with its 12MP resolution, and the 4K 30fps performance ensures smooth, sharp video, even when zooming in on finer details. The 1080p at 120fps capability is a standout feature for high-speed activities, such as recording golf swings or other motion-intensive tasks. It captures everything with precision and no noticeable lag. Zoom Functionality The zoom-in and zoom-out functions work seamlessly, allowing me to focus on specific details easily. Whether it's analyzing small objects or adjusting for different perspectives, the camera’s zoom is both smooth and reliable. Versatility This camera is a perfect fit for multiple devices. I’ve tested it with my computer and Raspberry Pi, and it works flawlessly on both, thanks to its UVC plug-and-play compatibility. It doesn’t require additional drivers, which is a huge plus for someone who values convenience. Build Quality The camera feels solid and durable, with a professional finish. It’s clear that it’s designed for industrial use, but it’s just as effective in a home setup for tech enthusiasts or professionals. Performance Whether recording at high speed or capturing fine details, this camera handles it all with ease. The USB 3.0 interface ensures fast data transfer, minimizing latency. It’s ideal for applications that require precise, real-time video capture. Value Considering the range of features and the superior image quality, the SVPRO 12MP USB Camera offers excellent value for the price. It’s a versatile tool for anyone needing a reliable, high-performance camera. Conclusion While I am still getting used to this camera, it is a great option if you’re looking for something for specialized tasks or even everyday use. The 4K resolution, zoom functionality, and high-speed recording make it perfect for everything from professional video capture to hobbyist projects. Highly recommended!

For golf sim, shop elsewhere.
Horrible resolution. Processed a return but wasn’t able to get it sent back in time. Anyway, it’s not good for a golf simulator. I will say it will show your swing in full and slow motion, but the image clarity is terrible. I order the different one that was supposedly faster, but it can’t display the swing at all.

Truly run 120fps
This camera is amazing! I purchased the SVPRO 12MP usb camera for golf swing analysis, i tried several webcams, but this one is the best and i'm impressive. It has zoom and plugs in via a usb connection, the picture clarity is really great at 4K 30fps, but 1080P at 120fps is what i needed, this is a standout feature for filming high-speed action! But if you just plug this into your computer and try run it with any webcam software, you may confusing since the previous reviews state the camera runs max 1080p@30fps. Quite the contrary actually, you only need to run the camera with a professional video software. Many regular webcam software has limited functionality, such as the default camera program on your computer, they usually support a maximum of 1080p 30fps or 60fps without advanced settings. Anyway it’s a pretty good high speed camera.

120FPS hype
Definitely worth the money for my hobbist needs. Here is a video I recorded with this USB webcam at 120FPS1080P in obs studio.

Max is 1080@30fps
I bought this specifically to do high speed video either using my Mac or Linux, both of which the seller claims support for on this camera. I have emailed the seller and although they claim it should be working, the best I can get is 1080 at 30 fps, despite the seller claiming 4K@30 and 1080@120 support. The only reason I am keeping it is that I created a use for the camera despite being more expensive than other options. Returning it is just to much of a hassle.

Seriously well made camera but overkill for standard webcam
This is a very very well made camera. It's a solid block of metal and the lens gives you a ton of adjustment flexibility but keep in mind it's all manual. Setting the zoom, aperture, focus (literally everything) is manual and you lock it down with set screws on the sides. Having installed many larger versions of these in the past, i am totally used to the process however it may be a little difficult for some to get the perfect picture. This is especially true of this unit due to the relatively small lens diameter so even minor adjustments make a big difference. Then locking down your adjustments is just as delicate as to not move your setting. Picture quality is very clear once everything is dialed in and video is very smooth due to the higher frame rate. What really sets this camera apart from any other web cam however is the lens interchangeability. If you need a different focal length, just purchase another lens. Essentially for filming reviews or things like that where you have a controlled environment with fixed lighting and distance, I think it's perfect. With all that said, I think it's an amazing little camera but maybe overcomplicated as a web cam. In my opinion, it's best served in a fixed position with a definitive amount of light that doesn't change much like for filming short videos or reviews in a pseudo studio type situation. Overall, amazing camera and definitely recommend.

Keine normale USB Kamera. Gute Bildqualität, gutes Objektiv, großer Zoomfaktor, leider nur USB2. Leider etwas teuer. 5 Sterne

This camera left me genuinely impressed with its professional-grade design and versatile capabilities. It arrived quickly, packaged in a neutral box, and its metal housing and lens feel exceptionally well-crafted. The smooth adjustment mechanism for zoom, focus, and aperture adds a level of precision, and the ability to lock settings into place with a screw enhances its reliability. The camera body itself feels solid, and the USB cable is long and thick, making setup easy and secure. With a standard ¼-inch tripod mount on the underside, along with an additional stand, it allows for flexible positioning and tilting, making it easy to set up in different configurations. The image quality is good, though not as natural as the built-in camera on my Mac Pro laptop. Its light sensitivity could be improved, as low-light conditions introduce graininess, but this is something I’ve experienced with most cameras. I plugged it into my Mac laptop and tested it with Photo Booth and Zoom, all of which recognized the output easily. However, I couldn’t find a way to adjust the FPS or determine exactly what the camera was recording, as there seems to be a lack of obvious software on Mac for fine-tuning these settings. What the camera does exceptionally well is extreme macro close-up imaging. I was able to get incredibly detailed images, even capturing the individual pixels on my mobile phone screen with sharp focus. At around 40 cm, it delivers sharp, high-detail images, and at under 2 cm, it functions almost like a microscope. The USB cable design is well thought out, with a connector positioned 33 cm from the camera housing, making it easy to thread through walls. The remaining cable length of 260 cm provides ample reach, and with adapters, the range can be extended for surveillance setups. However, the reliance on USB 2.0 is a notable limitation, potentially restricting data transfer rates for high-resolution 4K video. One key limitation is that the camera is not water-resistant, making it unsuitable for outdoor use. For indoor applications, it’s decent, but I’m not entirely sure of its best use case beyond macro photography and industrial monitoring. Those using Windows may find better software compatibility, whereas Mac users might face limitations in adjusting camera settings. Overall, this USB camera far exceeds typical expectations, delivering exceptional close-up detail and precision, making it well-suited for industrial, surveillance, and creative use cases. However, the lack of water resistance and software limitations on Mac may be drawbacks for some users. If you’re mainly working with macro photography, it’s a solid, well-built option.
