READ FOR WINDOWS 11
For those who have problems like it not showing up in your device manager (windows 11) it has to do with your PCIe slot, mine didn’t show because my second slot was sharing the bandwidth with the m.2 slots, I have 3 nvme drives and I had to remove two of them to have the slot working, finding the drivers was easy- search for Intel’s 10gigbit Ethernet pack- then update manually on device manager

Excellent network card
This card has worked as expected so far. I bought it because I upgraded to 5gig fiber internet and so far this card has provided me with consistent and fast speeds.

Works kinda! It gets recognized on my network and works but drops signal randomly be cautious.

Under Windows 11 switch from "Auto negotiation" to "10 Gig Full Duplex" in the Driver Settings
Used it in my Lenovo PC running Windows 11. After NIC HW install, I saw "Ethernet Adapter" in the windows device manager yellow flagged. After installation of the Intel Drivers, windows recognized the NIC properly as Intel Ethernet Controller X540-AT2 running 4.1.229.0 Driver Version from 11/25/2020. I connected one port to TP-Link 10 Gig Switch TL-SX105 using Cat8 Cable and run into Auto Negotiation Issue: LEDs on the Switch and on the NIC were green indicating 10 Gig connection, however Win11 showed "NIC not connected" and DHCP was not working. The Solution was to go into Device Manager -> NIC, right click and select "Properties". In the "Advanced" tab, scroll down to "Speed & Duplex" and switch from "Auto Negotiation" to "10 Gbps Full Duplex", re-insert the Ethernet / reboot Windows. That fixed the problem for me and iperf3 shown full 10 Gig speed.

Unfortunately did not work for me
TLDR: It stops receiving or sending packets after an amount of traffic that will no longer work. It may have been a faulty one, but highly recommend staying away. Buyer beware! I tried...really...really hard to get this to work. I was using this for linux. I tried updating the drivers for this thing. I put this back up and back into the motherboard numerous times. I tried it with different OSes. I didn't have a 10Gbe router yet, but then I bought one. I got 10 GbE cables. I tried everything. It simply did not work. By "did not work", the card would work for the first few bytes sent or received, then it will drop any packets afterwards. You can never complete a 256 MB file, it stops approximately half way and 0 packets received. The worst part is that the network card shows no signs of issues. No kernel error messages. Nothing wrong with lights on the back. I've banged my head trying to fix this and I'm so sad that I had to return this. I'm not sure if it was a faulty device, Intel's driver, or this device is a scam, but I would recommend staying away from this card or any network card using the ixgbe driver. I've found success with another 10GbE adapter that doesn't use an Intel chip. That's all I can say without breaking Amazon's rules. Best of luck to you fellow Amazonians!

10G as advertised
Works great in my TrueNas server. Only issue i had was power draw on the 24pin connector but it was solved by taking the extention off.

Rien de compliqué ; il faut bien suivre l'installation en fonction de votre système d'exploitation et tout fonctionne ! En fonction de votre configuration, un module SFP+ sera nécessaire pour brancher un câble Ethernet.

it's a bit fidgety getting the drivers installed but, once done, you can easily auto install for the 2nd port, on win11 the intel driver installer didn't work for me etc just download the package and do it manually from whatever folder you unzip them to! other than that, performance is great, connected to a 10g switch and a asus rog gt-be98, home network on roids :3
