I really like the strength this has with regard to holding my mobile phone in place without moving around due to the inevitable vibrations and bumps that come with longer rides. I’ve seriously damaged 2 separate phones due to their coming loose from other holders in the past. I just can’t see that happening with this mount, which makes it worth FAR more valuable than its price.

I was pleasantly surprised with how well this works and how well it is constructed for the price. The mounting arm is mostly metal which is reassuring, and locks down on your handle bars with an Allen head screw, all good there. The mounting plate that attaches to the phone via an adhesive pad is also sturdy. The backing paper over the adhesive was a bit of a bugger to peel off but no big deal. The adhesive is very strong, so far, so good. Note, before you stick the plate on the back of your phone, think about how you want your phone to be orientated, remember that the phone has to be rotated 45 degrees after being placed in the mount. As far as how well the phone locks down, it's pretty secure. The act of rotating it 45 degrees would probably suffice for scooters, bicycles, ect. for anything else, you would want to use the locking arm to keep the phone from rotating and coming loose. I have read other reviews saying that the locking arm doesn't work but it does on mine. Be sure to have the mount orientated correctly. Make sure the "Grand Pitstop" lettering on the mount isn't upside down and that the locking arm is on the right side. The locking arm only works in the DOWN position. The locking arm does feel a little cheap so it's entirely possible it was broken in other reviews. My phone did vibrate/ shake a little bit while in use but it doesn't bother me. All in all, it's a good mount, especially for the price. I'd trust it for commuting/ casual rides ect. If you like to cross country and have an expensive phone, maybe consider something else. TIP: The plate that mounts on the phone will obviously add some bulk and interfer with wireless charging. I would consider getting a separate phone case just for using with this mount.

I got this product because I ride my bike every day and am pretty much always looking for any new type of accessory to make the rides more enjoyable. I was pretty excited about this one so I was in ixing and installing just about as soon as I received the package. Installation was a breeze and anyone who's familiar with how bike accessories are installed when they attach to your handlebars, should have no problem with this. It's really simple though, even for anyone who's never added something to their bike before. So the way this is set up is for the base to attach to your handlebars & this is a magnetic piece that has a lock mechanism on it so the phone is locked in place and secure. It comes with 2 magnetic stickers you put on the back of the phone as well. It's a great concept and anyone who's used other style phone holders for their bike knows how much of a pain it can be just to get your phone setup and ready for the ride, as well as taking it back off when you're done. With this one though, you just stick your phone to the magnetic base and then click the lock switch to secure it, so it doesn't fall off after hitting a bump or something similar. In theory, this should be a 2 second process and you're off riding. The issue I had was the locking mechanism not working properly, so my phone was left just holding on by the magnet and most definitely would fall off at some point while riding. I was pretty bummed but I'm almost certain I just got a defective product because it just wouldn't lock at all like it's designed to do. Hopefully no one else experiences this issue. The box does have a little Allen wrench in it as well so it comes with everything needed for installation.

Pretty cut and dry. This holds quite well (lock it in) and comes at a very acceptable cost point. With this particular set up, you'll need to either skew or offset it a bit in order to use any wireless-type chargers. Otherwise, I think you'll be satisfied with this holder. One of my older littles has been using this on his mountain bike, and he says it's been holding up 'pretty good,' which I translate from his-speak as: works great and comes in pretty handy... at a great price :)

I image that these would have a high return rate if they sell. The listing tells you it works with all kinds of iPhones. What they don't tell you, is that if you stick the sticker thing on your iphone that it will no longer function with other Magsafe products. No wireless phone charging, Magsafe car holder etc. The clamp mechanism is aluminum and should hold well onto handle bars. I haven't tested the glue on a phone because I don't want to stick it over the Magsafe ring. The twist and lock mechanism seem to hold securely, but no use for me.
