I wanted a stainless steel plate for my children as a non toxic alternative to the frequently used plastic options. These were one of the most affordable options I found. I have used them for over a year at least once a day and am finally writing a review! Pros: - Durable - these have lasted a year for us with minimal wear and tear - dishwasher safe- I will sometimes hand wash and sometimes throw in the dishwasher, either way, they have held up. The color remains the same as day one, so there is no color distortion from the high temp of the dishwasher - no taste- these do not hold a taste or smell like the plastic options - thickness - these are not too thick so they are fairly light and kid friendly, I don't worry about toes getting hurt if (when) the plate falls on the ground - separate areas- the three separate areas are super kid friendly. Having the food in clear and distinct areas is a simple way to improve presentation and increase likelihood of eating the food - size - truly a great size for toddlers and up. Cons - these are stainless steel meaning the metal will get warm when hot food is placed on it. This has never been an issue for us because I let the food cool to an appropriate temp for consumption before presenting to my children and the plate has always cooled down by then. I've only ever noticed that it gets warm because I'm the one holding it while putting the warm food on it. Overall these are a great buy and I intend to purchase more.

Pro: keeps the food warm and very easy to clean. Perfect size for my 2 and 4 year old to use. Affordable and comes with 4 plates and is dishwasher safe. Cons: the plate is a bit on the thinner side and I would prefer it to be thicker. Not a dealbreaker but does lose 1 star for me.
