I did charge it overnight And I think this would be a really good idea for anyone who's considering purchasing one of these. You can tell when it's fully charged because the light changes color from red. I'm fortunate that I can leave it plugged into the charger if I want to, but I've had it unplugged for about a week now and I fill up my coffee pot with this item daily. I have not had to recharge it yet. This is encouraging because we have lots of power outages in Florida. I wish I could upload a video I'll try to figure out how to do that. it really has a very strong stream when you 1st push the on button, and when you turn it off the stream stops it doesn't drip down or change direction. That is especially important when you want to fill a vessel that is more than a few inches away. My only concern would be the plastic tube and parts. Since I don't read Chinese, and I don't have a test kit, I can't really verify that there is no BPC or other harmful carcinogenic plastics being used. But I'm old so I'll guess I'll take the chance.

Choose this one mostly for aesthetics. Looks 98% just like the picture. BUT, keep in mind that this GOES OVER THE SEAL CAP with the puncher hole. The picture is misleading as it looks like it's over the bare bottle mouth. Another reviewer has a vid slapping it around with it over the bare mouth. Make sure to install properly.I have recharged it once since the initial charge. So far the runtime has lasted about 10-11 days, but we use it a lot. 5 Gallon bottle count is about the 5-6 mark. Where as the description may be pertaining to the smaller capacity bottles. For sanitation and convenience, I used a USB charging brick instead of pulling the unit off. It can be used while charging. The water flow is the most disappointing. It's very slow in comparison to the long blue stem ones with the red switch. Isn't too bad if you want a glass of water. More like 1/2 Liter a minute. I guess that's what it means when the description reads "0.6L quantitative pumping". Over all they are not really lying, but I need faster. Still not bad, too slow for my kitchen needs.

Just charge on USB and then place it on a jug. It doesn’t screw down into a jug, it just sits over the neck. Works great. Fast water flow too.

I love this item!Pros: It is easy to assemble, easy to charge, works effortleslyCons: just "sits" on top of 5-gallon bottle. Does not screw on or has no way to secure.

Broke first use ON A TRIP. We had to 8 5gallon jugs of water and no pump...

A bit snug to get on and off but it’s a great product.
