The Book of Wisdom: The Wisdom of Solomon

Have you ever read the Book of Wisdom? It's phenomenal. Honestly, it explains the evolution of idolatry better than ANYTHING written in the bible. In fact, the Book of Wisdom should be considered canon. This version is slightly different from the one found in the Douay-Rheims Version (DRV) of the bible but it's essentially the same material. The DRV was translated into English from the Latin Vulgate, which was translated from the Greek. The book you get in this product is a straight translation from the original Greek text. That's right, it was originally written in Greek and that's one of the reasons that the Jewish world rejects the book. It's not a doctrinal thing at all. It's a "Not Invented Here" kind of thing.

Small but great addition to a Biblical home library.

Well Written with large print. However it more of a booklet. I wanted book.

Simple, easy, and adept translation. Sure, there are many Bible browsers but it is very handy to have this historic religious work in one usable file.

I bought this in the hope. The cover is great but such enormous font which should really make a much smaller book. It’s so expensive for what it is. Poor
