Miracle in a can!
My shih'tzu was having seizures. At least 2-3 times a month. It was awful. Let me first say that there is definitely a connection between when I'd give him his Advantage Multi (ticks, fleas, heartworms) and the seizures. I have stopped that insanity! (Research how rare it is for dogs to get heartworms and stop letting the fear sucker you into giving your fur baby poison! Also, just as with humans and mosquito spray, there are *natural* tick/flea repellants.) Anyhoo...what I've learned is that his DIET was causing gut issues, which was causing liver, gall bladder and neurological issues. Quit all dry food, cheapo canned food, started him on the Instinct food, along with some natural herbs, and guess what? NOT ONE SEIZURE for almost a month now! And he's never eaten better, loves this food; like, jumping up when I'm preparing his food, and runs over to it and hoovers it. His energy and personality are back. Makes a doggie mama HAPPY!

Very good food
Very good quality food and my picky shih tzu's love it, I had to find another brand because the one I was using was out of stock, I figured it looked like better food and I'm glad I got it, my female has a sensitive stomach, so I feed them limited ingredients... this seems to be a great food, I had to change them off of chicken and turkey, they were licking there paws, my vet wanted to give my female allergy shots instead of changing the food but I decided to change the diet, and no more licking, allergy can be taken care of through diet no need to give them drugs. This food is pricey but if it keeps my dogs off meds it's worth it.

Great wet food
My dogs eat a homemade diet but before bed, they eats get a special treat of a tablespoon of this. They really love it. We used it when crate training to get the dogs to love their crate time.

Sancho-approved, but wrong feeding guidelines?
Sancho, a 2-year-old Rottweiler, loved this canned food mixed into his kibble as we switched over to a mostly-rabbit elimination diet to deal with some ongoing GI troubles. I actually only saw improvement when the dry food finally arrived (the Royal Canin Selected Protein rabbit-based food available only by prescription), though the Instinct canned food seemed to be high-quality. But who knows what combination of factors eventually settled the pup’s GI tract. What really seems worth noting is that if I had been feeding this 90-pound dog only the Instinct canned food according to the feeding guidelines on the can (i.e. that a daily portion should be one and a quarter cans food per 15 pounds of the dog’s weight), I would have needed to feed him 7.5 cans per day (1.25 cans x 6), since he weighs 90 pounds — and when I showed these feeding guidelines to my vet, she said that amount of food seemed like an outrageous recommendation. (Besides, at $5/can, few could afford this food as a large dog’s exclusive source of food, given the daily price tag of ~$40.) Something wonky there, it seems.

My dog loves this food
I will put 3 types of food in my dog's dish and she ALWAYS goes for Instict can food, FIRST. She is 13 years old and is doing fine. I purchased both the poultry and the beef and she loves both flavors! Thank you..

Deadly to Dogs!
In the first week of January we had to rush our Chihuahua to the vet then an emergency vet in another town half an hour away. He has since been referred to a dermatologist in a town almost an hour from us. I am reporting this brand to the FDA. Now hearing that several pets have nearly lost their lives from this brand among other popular so called healthy dog food brands. Our dog had been doing this formula for nearly a year and suddenly something changed clearly in the formula. If your dog is rejecting their food or trying to hide it, do NOT doctor it up in order for them to eat it. Our dog began vomiting, having diarreah and became lethargic. We spent 2k the first week of January on getting him well again. Awful company and wont take this back via Amazon. Thankfully Chewy.com is awesome!

Please bring back Rabbit
Please bring all rabbit back! My dog is allergic to other proteins and this brand doesn't stink like it's competitors!
