Lots of fun for all ages - Perfect game night pick!
This game is a TON of fun! The concept is fairly simple and the game plays pretty quickly (around 30 minutes), so we were able to play several games over the course of our game night. While the rules are pretty straightforward, there's a decent amount of strategy involved, so being able to play through an entire game in a short amount of time is perfect: It allowed us to develop tactics and then test them out all in the same night. The components themselves are very sturdy and the bright colors of the wooden shapes are are really appealing. The rules also offer a few different ways to change up the game play, so it never felt stale. There's also an option to play in teams, which is a good choice for larger groups. Highly recommended!

Ideal for ages 7-12
I recommend taking a few minutes to read the directions first, before setting up the board. The lettered sides should slide in to match the way the instructions show. At first, I thought something was wrong with the board because pieces would get stuck in the middle. As you play a few times, you’ll understand. It’s a fun an easy game for 7 to 12 year-olds to play, without getting board. My 7 year old daughter loves counting and keeping score. This is a game that’s more fun with three or four players. You cannot have any two of the same color or shape touching, but you don’t know how far the pieces will fall, so you take a gamble. When you are done. It can be tricky to remove the pieces that are stuck. Playing on carpet helps bc you can tap the board upside down on a soft surface to loosen them. This game is unique and I recommend for children under twelve who can count well.

Fun family game
Played at a friend's house and immediately bought a copy for my own collection. Pro - Quick to learn and play. A game only takes 20 minutes, including teaching. - Can play with a variety of ages and skill levels. It also comes with 'wildcards' and can be given to younger or less experienced players to account for various skill levels. - Quality pieces - It is fun, several times every game everyone bursts into laughter about some unexpected outcome Con - Not sure about replay-ability, the game is very simple and I can see people getting bored quickly. - To get the pieces out between games requires you to dump the entire board upside down, meaning everything falls out. It would be nice to have a way to reset the board without this happening.

Warped pieces make game worthless
This is a fun game - love the concept. However warped pieces get stuck in the drop box rendering the game useless. Plastic pieces of higher quality as opposed to the cheap warped wood would have been so much better.

A Game All Families Should Own
This is an excellent game. It’s great for families, and it’s also great as a “filler” game for game nights with your friends. The game is sneakily more challenging than it appears. It’s also the type of game that people will want to replay right away if they lose. I have only played this game with adults during our game nights, and everyone has loved this game. This is an easy recommendation, and is essentially a must-own for all gaming families out there.

Fun Game for the Whole Family, but Unfortunately Flawed
This game has great potential to be a fun option for any family game night. It’s easy to understand, making it accessible for players of all ages, from kids to seniors. The colorful design and wooden pieces give it an appealing and quality touch. However, there’s a major issue that led me to return the game: some pieces aren't completely flat, which causes it to get stuck during gameplay. This makes it impossible to play properly, as the piece doesn’t move smoothly. Although the game overall seems very promising, this defect in the piece makes it unplayable. Unfortunately, due to this issue, I had to return the game.

Fun and quick for gamers of all ages!
Easy to learn and quick to play, this game is a lot of fun for gamers of all ages and abilities. Each player has a set of colored wooden pieces consisting of squares, circles, diamond shapes, and triangles. On your turn, you drop one of your pieces into the vertical plastic display and score if that piece does not touch a piece/border of the same color or shape. You can also gain bonus points if your piece lands in a spot touching a bonus circle which is etched into the plastic walls. While the rules are simple, this game requires a bit of dexterity and thought to play well. This has been a big hit with everyone I have played it with or given it to!

I played Drop It with three family members over the weekend and we all loved it! We finished the first game and they all immediately wanted to play a second game. It's easy enough to explain to someone who's never played before and it's so fun watching your pieces fall and see if the physics are going to work for you or against you. There is definitely strategy involved figuring out the best position to drop your piece, but since they can fall in unpredictable ways, all players are on a pretty even playing field. According to some other reviews, defective copies are fairly common in Drop It, I was fortunate that my copy was quite well made, my only problem was one of the green square pieces was somewhat defective, but it didn't seem to affect the games we played. The scoring board seemed a little unnecessary, we actually didn't use it, instead we handed out Monopoly money $1 and $5 bills for points and counted out all of our money at the end of the game to see who won. We're excited to play this again, definitely one of my favorite games I've ever purchased.

I bought this to play with youngsters, but it's a really good game. The idea is to drop your shapes and stack them up to gain points, the trick is to not touch the same colour otherwise you will get nothing, there's more to it but this is the basics. Overall this is a good game, it'll entertain folks for a few games at the least and doesn't take long to set up or put away. Components are very good and are not fiddly but the score tracker feels a little unnecessary at times but I appreciate why they've added one. This is a good simple one.
