Color:Besame Lark Press cards are printed on 100 year old Chandler and Price presses made in Cleveland, Ohio. Each card is hand fed into the press. This is truly a labor of love and the design of each card made by the team at Lark is stunning. Much of the inspiration for Lark's designs comes from the beauty and splendor of natural world. Letterpress printing was the normal form of printing text from its invention by Johannes Gutenberg in the 15th century up until the 19th century. In the 21st century, letterpress printing is most often used for artistic purposes making cards, broadsides, and many other printed, paper products.
