Best air fryer ever!
This is the best air fryer. Everything I make comes out perfect. There is no guess work with the pre programs and the thermometer. It bring air frying to a new level. I got the ceramic one. It is super easy to clean. I use it several times a day. Steaks turn out great ! The customer service is awesome! They answer any questions in a timely and friendly manner. I would recommend this product and would buy it again. The window is nice to check on your food. But honestly the best thing about it is the thermometer. Everything comes out perfect.

I thought I hated it. I was wrong!!!
So let me tell you...first time I used it I absolutely hated it! In truth it was because I didn't know what I was doing! I have been an air fryer snob for a couple of years. Yep. We exist. I started out with the bucket type like this when they first came out. I used it until it died. I saw they had come out with some really slick and fancy looking ones that were like an oven on your counter but was an air fryer!!! A door, shelves and a rotisserie. It was a name brand. I put my nose up at anything that had a bucket. What a dummy. Lol. I thought they were all just junk and limited in usage. Seriously...I couldn't have been more wrong!! My big unit that they called "space saving" was such a pain in the butt to clean!!! So much so it just sat there and was only used for the occasional crisping up of something. And the rotisserie? Great if you wanted to cook a pigeon! Anyway I got this one because quite frankly I am a new relatively younger widow that just can't get myself to cook for just me. And to dirty the other air fryer unit was simply not worth the clean up. I then went to Amazon after seeing this one on Pinterest and bought it. I was here in 3 days. I decided to test it out the day I got the Tastee by making French fries. I am a low carb eater but had some french fries my husband loved in the freezer. I am only 5'2" so I had to put a stool in the kitchen to see the button panel on top of the unit. It's very pretty and self explanatory. Didn't have to read the instructions. Lol. So I hit the power button, touched the pad with the picture of the French fries. Realized I had to have the bucket in the machine. I emptied out the French fries out of the bucket and slid it into the machine. I was confident. I hit all the appreciate buttons for French fries and waited for some sort of beep or something to tell me it was pre heated and to put the food in. It never beeped. I was frustrated. This is where the hate came in. I thought "what a piece of junk!" Doesn't even tell you when to put your food in! It taunted me. I got back up on the stool and hit the buttons again and looked closely at the temp and time. It actually said it takes 28 frigging minutes to cook French fries!!!! Seriously?!!!! The hatred for this thing was building. It seemed like an expensive toaster oven or something. I took the matter into my own hands and hit air fry, temp to 400° for 8 minutes. It started running. Not loud at all like my old one. I got all excited when I saw I could hit a light button and see what was going on and it would turn off the light after a few minutes. I'm the one that walks away when I turn the oven light on. Anyway after doing the shake shake thing half way through and finished cooking until the beep and the fries were perfect!! Slightly crisp and tender inside the way I like them. Since then I've made bacon in it in 8 minutes and didn't have to turn it as anticipated. I took out the bottom grate and put it into the sink. Poured off most of the grease and threw in some fork blended eggs to make scrambled eggs. 400° and opened and closed the basket pushing the eggs around on the bottom with a rubber spatula to make perfect fluffy eggs. I was amazed. Yesterday I made a strip steak from frozen and it was perfect!! No need for the probe. I just kept an eye on it. I eat Ketovore so this is perfect for me and no messes to clean up. I'm telling you...I'm impressed. I got the $149 version. If the one for $199. Goes on sale I will probably buy it and put it away for when I need to replace this one. I absolutely positively recommend this product. It's perfect for one person or a family of 4. I am going to my widow/widower support group and will definitely tell the folks about this air fryer. Not cooking for yourself is a major problem for a lot of us widowed people. This has helped immensely. Love it! Again .. highly recommend this air fryer!

GREAT COMPACT AIR FRYER WITH TEMPERATURE PROBE FOR MEAT LOVERS
This air fryer is PERFECT for me! I have about 5 others, and this one will be the only one I use from now on. I never would do a steak in my others and preferred them cooked on the grill. That has changed. I may not even refill my propane tanks this year. I also love that I can do a final sear on my steak. If I want a darker crust, I just blast it on air fry mode at 450 degrees for 2 minutes. You can turn on the light to check on food without opening the drawer. The light turns back off automatically! With the temp probe, you can cook items to your exact preference. It has many preset temps for different meats, but you can still tweak them if you want a different temp setting, and it will save that in the preset buttons for the next time. I'm used to a 6 qt, but the 5.5 qt is adequate for me, since it does a superior job on my steaks. I can fit 1 big, or 2 smaller ribeye steaks. I mostly eat steak, but chicken and pork come out wonderful and moist. I'm looking forward to using the other functions in the future. It isn't very loud and it's a breeze to clean with the ceramic coating. It's more money than others, but I think the ceramic coating and temp probe make it worth the extra cost. By the way, the temp probe is right on with my Thermapen ONE. It works with Wi-Fi, but it won't work with a Hotspot. Because of all the presets, it doesn't really matter to me, but I thought I'd mention it. I just got a new oven, but I don't think I'll be using it much now!

Overall Great Air Fryer!
Overall, I've been pleased with this air fryer. I've cooked a wide variety of foods in it and almost all have come out great! First though, I was disappointed that it came with the top glass scratched. This has a touch screen and when it arrived, the screen wasn't covered by any sort of protective film. The scratches don't change it's functionality, but it's sad to open your new toy, only to find it looking used already. One other negative is how easily the basket scratched. After only a few uses, I noticed a scratch in the basket already. I'm typically very careful with my utensils so I was surprised to see a scratch. This cooks amazing bacon! Being carnivore, we eat meat exclusively and bacon all the time. Works great for salmon and ground beef. I've tried cooking a steak and wasn't impressed with the outcome. We like our steaks cooked on cast iron, so maybe expecting an air fryer to have the same result is asking a bit too much. However, using the probe did cook the steak to the level of doneness we wanted. Will try again to give it a fair test. We cooked bone-in chicken thighs, and while we didn't get the crispy skin that everyone raved about, the chicken was juicy and cooked thoroughly. My non-carnivore family members love how it cooks Brussels sprouts and potatoes. Crispy and delicious every time! The size of the air fryer is great for our shrinking family, since we're almost empty nesters. Larger families would probably want something bigger. The counter footprint is also a bonus; small and square is great! Despite the damaged screen, I've enjoyed playing with this air fryer and feel I've put it through its paces. I'm glad I got it and look forward to cooking more types of food in it!

The LAST Air Fryer I’ll Ever Need — Incredible Product & Even Better Company! This air fryer is PERFECT for me—truly in a class of its own. I own about five other air fryers, and this is the only one I use now. I never thought an air fryer could replace my grill for steaks, but here we are—I may not even refill my propane tanks this year. The steak results are nothing short of amazing. The temperature probe lets me cook to my exact preference, and the accuracy is spot-on every time. If I want a darker crust, I simply blast it on air fry at 450°F for two minutes for a perfect final sear. The built-in light lets me check on food without opening the drawer—and it automatically turns off. Brilliant design. The presets are excellent. There are recommended temperatures for different meats, but you can easily customize them, and the unit saves your settings for next time. I was used to a 6-qt fryer, but the 5.5-qt capacity is more than enough, especially since it cooks so efficiently. I can fit one large ribeye or two smaller ones with ease. Chicken and pork come out juicy and moist every time. It’s not very loud, and cleanup is incredibly easy thanks to the ceramic coating, which is exactly why I chose this model. It costs more than some others, but the ceramic interior and temperature probe make it absolutely worth the price. The probe is impressively accurate—right in line with my Thermapen ONE. We eat carnivore-style in our household and usually grill daily, but when my partner is out of town or Florida weather brings heavy rain, this air fryer is a lifesaver. Burgers and steaks come out perfectly medium-rare, and it even tells you when to flip the meat. Foolproof and consistent results every time. Cleanup is effortless. I add water right after cooking, give it a quick brush, and put it in the dishwasher. The temperature probe is also easy to clean and stores neatly in its designated spot. Now for the part that truly impressed me: I accidentally melted the temperature probe by storing it inside the TASTEE. Completely my fault. I tried to find a replacement probe here in Canada but couldn’t. Since I can’t call the U.S., I contacted the company by email—and they were absolutely fantastic. Even though the mistake was mine, they sent me a replacement probe anyway. That is the kind of customer service you rarely see anymore. This is a company that truly cares about its customers. Between the outstanding product and the incredible support, you simply can’t go wrong. Thank you, Tastee!

Warning to those buying this item from the UK, stupidly I assumed as the item was eligible for sale and shipping to the uk it would have a UK plug, sadly this was not the case. I am retuning and requested a full refund.

The air fryer is good and operates well, just couple of things to take into account - first, you will need a power transformer if using it outside USA, as the unit operates at 120V but the power outlets here ( and in Europe) are 220-240V. So for this unit we needed quite a powerful one which cost us half of the price we paid for air fryer. Second - you can use probe only if the meat (fish) is at least 1 inch thick, which is not very often as steaks sold outside USA rarely are this thick, so can’t use special programming and just meet to ‘wing it’ with general time and temperature. Special programs for meat and fish are used only with probe as far as I understand unfortunately.
