A necessity vitamin for someone who eats a varried diet with less meat than more.

I was losing so much hair, I had to use a strainer in my bath tub because the hair lose was so severe it was causing blockages regularly. A friend recommended this product. I also take Niacin, Biotin and Magnesium every day. It was like a miracle, in about a few months I was able to remove the strainer from my tub. it's been about a year and I have had more hair growth, my hair is shiny, fuller and healthy. Never believed in vitamins but I am a believer now. Even my friend was amazed at what a difference it made. I am 85 years old was delighted with the results. My hair was so thin and straw like.

There is no smell or aftertaste with this capsule, which is of normal size and easy to swallow.

I am pretty choosy about supplements. Firstly, I generally avoid anything that doesn't have a good evidence stack in the peer-reviewed literature. Secondly, I try to find trustworthy sources.Swanson is one of the long standing and premium vitamin brands in the USA - I've tried a few of their supplements now and, asides from the premium price which may well have something to do with the import, they are generally high bio-availability and reputable sources. So that's my second criterion taken care of.The jury seems to be out on high-dosage vitamin C; and I'm not sure what the long term effects of such high doses of B-vitamins would be. So I'll be saving these for the times when I am feeling run-down after excessive training or if life's pressures and fatigue have lowered my energy levels. It's not a supplement I'd take daily without specific medical direction to do so.Given that B-vitamins tend to give off a strong yeasty smell if they have been open long, I suspect I'm unlikely to finish the jar before I have to throw some of them out. But as I have been recovering from illness and getting back into running HIIT sessions (via the web during the COVID lockdown) I have been pleased with the way these have made me feel since I started on them and can see their value.

These are quite expensive at about 15p each, but they do contain 500mg of Vit C and relatively high amounts of the various B vitamins.If you need a B complex (and personally I think most women of menstruating age should take a good B vitamins supplement) then this is a good balance, not hard to take, and has the added benefit of including Vit C.

A good vitamin B complex's a great addition to the diet. For vegetarians and vegans, it is important to ensure an adequate intake of B vitamins is absorbed by the body as most sources are from meat and dairy products. Vitamin B can boost energy and helps to keep nerve and blood cells healthy. Vitamin B12 is included in this complex however as B12 is very difficult to absorb, it is unlikely to be much benefit swallowed in pill form. At 16p per dose these high quality supplements are better value that they appear, as with all vitamin B supplements, the smell is yeasty and be warned they will make your wee bright yellow, this is normal. Easy to swallow and a small boost to energy is noted.

Regular all round B vitamin that does seem to give me a little relief from the tiredness that goes hand in hand with having a Thyroid problem.Would recommend. Not the biggest tablets and i have had far bigger!Arrived well packaged and quickly.
