Works gradually. If you have fark hair,, it makes it a brownish blonde. Used about 11 times so far. Don't notice night chunks.of grey anymore. Worked a bit slower if you have dark brown hair. Very low maintenance. No transfer on towels. Doesn't stain the bath tub or sink. Practically no mess. Just some get it on carpet

I have to say that I was a little bit cautious of using this shampoo but I am pleasantly surprised however it does turn your hair slightly ginger at the beginning of using it but dont let that put you off the greys do get darker the more you wash your hair. So after around 10 washes it will get darker and darker but you still need dye your hair it is mainly good in between dying your hair, I have not dyed My hair since beginning of December and we are now at the end of January and it is still going strong so I would highly recommend this item to others works better on dark hair. I have jet black hair so it is good for me, You need to leave it on for a 5 to 9 mins, This is how long I leave it on for my hair. I would definitely purchase again when I run out of my bottle. Hair is still soft and the item is so easy to use in the shower. The Delivery was quick so thank you seller.

Don’t waste your money. £20 a bottle and at the end of the full bottle my roots were ginger, I’m mid/dark brown and my gray roots didn’t darken beyond ginger.

Okay but not see any change . Just wait to see after 5 times washing i will know more .

Decided to try this as roots showing after a couple of weeks and colour also getting bleached from the sun. It’s a little on the expensive side but if you take into account the price of a hair dye and the fact of having to colour more frequently it is worth it. Better than the touch ups that only work temporarily and there is no fear of colour transfer either. I will make sure I’ve always got a bottle of this on my shelf in future. There’s no need to use it everyday either, once you’ve achieved the darkness you want to just every few days is good or until the roots show. Left my hair feeling clean and healthy. Highly recommend

Great shampoo that delivers a lovely natural colour.

This hasn't worked on my hair, I have a few greys, rest of my hair is very dark brown, it's not done anything. I was using the colour brown shampoo and that was making a difference, it sort of made the greys a pale blondy/ginger colour but they blended in and were less obvious so tried this black one thinking it'd be stronger but it's washed out the brown effect and not done anything else! And it's made my hair really frizzy. Going back to the brown one instead
