DonJoy Performance WEBTECH Knee Support Brace with Compression Undersleeve

I wear a pair of this knee brace while playing tennis to support both knees which have unrepaired torn ligaments (including an acl tear). The brace is as supportive as the clunky ones I used to wear. The only disadvantage is that the velcro tabs wear out after less than a year. The next time I buy a pair I will try to extend the use of the tabs by alternating removal of the tabs from side to side. I also would like to see DONJOY offer just the velcro part for sale because the front neoprene part will last for a long time.

I wish these existed when I was younger! I caved in and bought this for both knees with the material knee sleeve to wear underneath. I wouldn’t recommend wearing them without the knee sleeve because the rivers that allow for your knee to bend, could potentially pinch your skin. I wear both of these adamantly while playing soccer as a 35yr old and it’s amazing! When my knees try to twist too far one way when I change direction during a soccer game, these knee braces hold my knee firmly and comfortably so that they stay correctly aligned. It’s almost like a feeling of heavy extra tendons around your tendons! It hasn’t slowed me down and not restricting at all while playing. I can play just as hard and run as fast as before. I really love how easy they are to take on and off while playing. Once you secure them with the Velcro, they won’t come undone. It’s truly a well made and thought of design. I wish I could of had these years ago. Absolutely worth the money at $80/each vs knee surgeries = priceless.

My dad had bad knees and requested this for his birthday so we bought it for him. He wears it daily and it helps him. He’s 65 and has some bad knees for a while. It does help with hills when going to the parks/hiking.

my third one and they work great. it's flexible enough to adjust it to the right position for support and comfort. downside is after a while the velcro stops working.

Couldn't find return policy by supplier. On their info page referred buyer to Amazon policy for returns. Bought item believing Amazon Return policy applied. Received item and it is a lot smaller than pictured and does not provide support I need for my issue. Had it on for approx 1 hour. but insufficient support. Tried return item thru Amazon and was apparently referred to Ithaca Sports (supplier) and response on Amazon site was - No returns for this item. Don't understand why not, but appears I am out approx. $100.00+.

I agree with others that the patella hole is a bit too small. The tightening tabs could be sized more generously as well. A hole in the back of the knee would be welcome to. Those things I would rate as a 3 star, but as for the overall fit and performance for light or slightly moderate support, I'll rate it a 4 star. I ordered the size I measured for and it does fit over my skinny jeans. I would not use this brace for support during an active sport if there is ligament damage. I wouldn't think it would prevent further damage.

So far the best knee brace I’ve ever used. It allows more range of motion while holding the knee in alignment. I will need a partial knee replacement in the next six months, but didn’t want to give up activities like hiking while waiting.Make sure you measure the brace sizing. I went to the Donjoy site directly, and then ordered via Amazon. I will buy a few more off brand thin compression sleeves to use with it.

This is the ONLY EQUIPMENT I have found to allow me to ride my horse with complete confidence after a full thickness tear of my ACL. EXCELLENT SUPPORT and LOW PROFILE bracing. If the velcro wears out, it is simple to buy a length of velcro (double-sided) and just cut a piece (or pieces) to make the brace useful again. They even sell it on Amazon!

I have large knees. Doesn’t fit well. But it was worth a try. The seller stood behind me 100% by refunding immediately! I was impressed. Thank you.
