Audien Hearing ION Wireless Rechargeable OTC Hearing Aid, Premium Comfort Design & Nearly Invisible

The ION Hearing Aid is very compatible to my expensive prescription Hearing Aids (HAs). I like how comfortable they are when I am wearing them. Other thing I like are the double dome ear domes which ensures that the earlobe is seal for no feedback (squeal) from the HAs. I like to longer delay in powering up the Has so I can properly seat them in my ears. The charging case is very compact and well design as well has portable and can charge the HAs at least 3X before you need to plug it in. As for hearing, the ION performs remarkably well. I can hear near the same as my Costco brand HAs. Some other observations is the you need to take off the tape (it says REMOVE) so you can begin charging the new HAs. The wire can be adjusted and flex to your liken. The instuctions are clear and easy to follow. If you are looking to try Has for the first time, I would definitely go with the Audien Brand great support and excellent quality. You will save a lot of money and I really think you will be very satisfied.

I have been wearing my ION OTC hearing aids for 10 days. Are they as good as the $2450 pair purchased 5 years ago? Not quite. However, they are very close for a tenth the cost if you add in audiograms, fittings and setup fees. You only have to take the ION hearing aids out of the box, take a few minutes to read the instructions, place them in your ears and begin hearing every sound around you. Just like the expensive brand I can adjust ION hearing aids for different sound conditions. I dine out frequently and really appreciate the directional sound setting. I prefer to use setting 3 for TV. It seems to brighten the voices inside or outdoors. Since I live in a quiet area, I hardly require the fourth setting. Setting one or three works for me. I am sure that some ION users require the setting as our hearing problems are all different. Finally, the charger. I only have to put the hearing aids in the charger night and put them back in my ear canal when I arise in the morning. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Work Very well! Good sound quality, long battery life, slightly smaller than many too. Just remember to switch Off when putting in the charger case.

I have tried other brands in the past and had to send them back because of very poor quality sound, back ground noises and whistling. These Audien ION hearing aids seem to work great for me and I've only had them on for 30 minutes. I can listen to my TV now at less then half the normal volume and my wife doesn't have to yell at me or repeat everything twice. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and I know it takes time to get used to them. I'm hearing sounds now that I haven't heard in years. I'm 87 years old and have had hearing issues for at least 20 years. I'm so happy with these hearing aids and I highly recommend them to anyone with mild to severe hearing loss.

Gave four stars..4.5 would be perfect. They are not quite as good as from audiologist, but boy a very close 2nd. For OTC they are great. The only thing you need to do is turn them on after they come out of charger and take 10 seconds to put in ear ( no problem). Turn them off prior to charging for the night. They hold volume settings even when off so you dont need to play with them daily. They dont need to be taken apart to clean. They are almost as easy as prescription. Customer service is awsome.

Easy to use, easy to understand directions . Really helps my hearing needs.

Although the price is great I cannot recommend these as the sound quality is nothing like fitted aids from an ENT Dr. My fitted aids are nearing the end of their useful life and I figured I would try these. Ended up sending them back. Audiens customer service was great and they honored their money back guarantee 👍

I really like the Hearing Aids The issue is Amazon just started a sale on the same item at $100 off. I called Amazon about it. They can't refund me the $100 even though I bought them about a week ago. I would have to return the aids for a full refund and then rebuy the aids at the lower price. Kind of crazy but that's the way it works. I purchase thousands of dollars a year thru Amazon. Loyalty means nothing I guess. Edited June 16, 2025. I ended up returning them. One stopped working. They worked well when they worked. I reordered them. Hopefully it was just one bad one. We will see. They were kind enough to refund quickly. 6/18/25 I received my new set. I love them. They work well without feedback. I'm just hoping I didn't get a bad one this time. Nothing is perfect.
