Miss Jessie's Baby Buttercreme Unisex Cream 8 oz (Pack of 4)

My favorite of all time curling crème. A little goes a long way and it smells great and feels good 2 . Highly recommend to get rid of frizz and make beautiful curls.

Low porosity, type 4C to 4Z hair worn naturally. (Ha!) The strands of my hair aren’t super thick, BUT I have a very dense head of hair. (It’s so thick that multiple people have accused me of wearing an afro wig or inserting hair pieces.) A little goes a long way. My coils love this stuff because it tends to soak in and truly moisturize. (Note: Because of my hair needs, I usually wet my hair then apply the Baby Buttercreme. I have no issues with applying it to dry hair, though.). It has a lot of slip and smells good. If you’ve tried the squeeze bottle version, know that there’s some type of difference between that the this jar. The squeeze bottle version didn’t seem to soak in/moisturize my coils as well as the jar. Admission: I’ve tried moving to other brands/products because of the price. All of my other products are much cheaper. In the long run though, this product works the best. I don’t have to deal with dry, breaking hair or itchiness. I don’t have to apply it daily because it moisturizes for days. All of that is what makes this worth the money.

I am an active African American male with hair type 3C/4A. I maintain my hair around 1.5” - 2.5” in length. My lifestyle requires a lot of travel which exposes my hair to different types of water and chemicals when I shower and/or wash my hair. I have found that all city water is not created equal. This product has been beneficial in maintaining moisture and my curl pattern. I really like the fact it doesn’t have an outlandish amount of residue or build up after a few days. The product is light and easy to apply. I went away from this product for a year trying other moisturizers but I keep coming back to the Buttercreme. It’s doesn’t have a high shine on my hair. I top the product with a dime size of glycerin if I really want it to shine. I massage it in thoroughly.

This product coats and moisturizes my 3c4a strands so well. It keeps me from getting single strand knots and split ends helping me to retain length. It also keeps my hair from looking so dull and dry. I always pair it with some evoo. I love it for updos, protective styles, braid outs and twist outs! I've been using it for 15 years. It is awesome!! The container that I received it in this time was dark brown or black that tinted the creme. I'm not sure why. It still works the same though.

Seems a lot more watery than past purchases. I would recommended direct purchase from the manufacturer.

This crème smells sooooo good and it makes my daughter’s hair silky smooth and enhances her beautiful curls. It’s a great moisturizer. I will buy this again. Highly recommend purchasing.

This product works great on my 6 month old daughters hair. Before using the buttercream my daughters hair would end up dry & hard. The buttercream keeps it moisturized & curly. I enjoy the smell because it doesn't smell too strong like other products we tried. I just wish it wasn't so expensive or I could find it on sale! But it's definitely worth the money.
