Good winch
Bought and installed a year ago. Used it for the first time this past weekend to winch a tahoe onto a trailer. Tahoe had been sitting and was stuck in mud with flat tires. Since its on the front of my truck i had to run the line out to a snatch block that was hooked to the front of my gf blazer, then ran the line under the truck through the trailer to the tahoe. With the tahoe being stuck and not wanting to budge the winch ended up moving my f350 dually and the gf blazer quite easily, easilyover 12k lbs total. Once i anchored both vehicles it moved the tahoe just fine. Remote was a little finicky as it seemed like it needed line of sight to send the signal. If i was directly behind my truck it wouldnt work, it does have a good distance if your able to see the winch. Not a fan of the fairlead it comes with but it works, im going to upgrade to a roller style. It does have about a 3ft rope protector on the end of the line which was nice. I bought a few extra as i didnt know it came with one. Overall very happy with this winch

Easy install and seems to work well.
I've only used it once but it worked well. Would recommend putting a breaker inline before you wire it straight to your battery, would have been nice if they would have included that. But other then that no complaints. Haven't been able to test it for it's fully load capacity, or for durability, but so far so good.

Remote?
It is a good winch for the money. But bought this tool with the thought in mind to be able to move it from the front to rear & onto my 14,000 lb flatbed to load cars trucks ect. And the remote really sold me. So lets get started first the manual is confusing at best if you think your just going to open the box and slap it on WRONG!!! you have put it together first you will need metric & standard tools and then back to the manual three star headache now that you have put that altogether move on to the remote control now back to the manual after reading it a few times I'm like frick I guess I'll go take the control box back off and see if I can find what there not really telling me and that's not just taking it off you have disassemble the control box that thing on top of the winch then you find the wires there trying to show you how to hook up but wait there's no place to install inside the the control box WTH so now you'll have to drill a hole through the control box housing but wait won't that let water or dust and dirt in why by golly your right again is the controller water proof? where can you mount it that it moves where ever you have need of your new tool yes you could mount it under the hood of your truck but then you would have to unwire the remote this defeats the reason I chose this winch. Like I said not bad for the money but I would not replace it with the same one. Make sure it has a built it remote and comes fully assembled.

good looking winch
good heavy-duty power cables that are long enough to connect cleanly

Easy install
Looks good on the Jeep. Easy install. Instructions could have been better on which wires go to which bolts on the winch itself. Did a Google search and found a video that clarified it. Not used it yet, but it looks very impressive. I thought about installing it to the bumper before I installed the bumper but chose not to due to the shear weight of the two parts combined.
