LET THERE BE LIGHT!
Holy crap, I can see in my printer! this is A LOT brighter, like a magnitude of 10. I watched a few YouTube reviews and they didn't do it justice. I think they changed their control board that allowed both the old light and the new light to be plugged in so that isn't possible anymore but this light is so so so much brighter I don't need the old light anymore. I highly recommend this! The magnets are really strong and I didn't feel the need to use the sticky pads but I'm keeping them just in case. I would probably use them if I moved my printer a lot but not really needed right now.

A must have
If you have a P1S or X1C this light is mandatory. I don’t know how to tinker with printers and I was still able to figure out how to install this light with ease and the light output is literally night and day

Bright
Pictures do not do this justice. It really brightens up my p1s. The p1s hard to see with it closed up so I would open door to look at how its printing but with this light I do not need to open door to see it better

An improvement to the stock led. Still needs some work, though.
I'll start by saying, this led IS an improvement from the stock one on my X1C. But, not by much. This BIQU led is a great design. The aluminum housing is really nice. Its triangle shape allows it to mount on the front horizontal metal frame of the printer. Leaving just enough room for the toolhead to still be able to home in the front right of the printer without a collision. I was skeptical that there was enough room for this led to mount and be out of the way of the toolhead, but it is. It comes with some powerful magnets pre-installed on the led housing. They hold great, but it also comes with adhesive tabs for extra measure. I used the adhesive tabs, just to be safe. For the Cons and simple improvements that would make this led almost perfect out of the box. The led's aluminum housing comes with some 3d printed end caps installed on it. They are NOT the exact size of the aluminum housing. Not a huge deal, but if you are using the supplied 2-sided adhesive tabs (which you should), the 3d printed end caps being slightly larger than the aluminum housing, caused the adhesive tabs to not stick. The adhesive tabs are so thin, that the plastic endcaps held the housing off of the frame JUST enough that the adhesive wasn't touching the metal, to stick to it. I took a razor blade and carefully sliced a .5mm amount of material off the plastic endcaps, so the aluminum housing would sit completely flat and this made the adhesive tabs stick.Next, (this is the worst part) the led comes with an extra length of wire and a pcb coupling. This I assume is so it can work with the P1P, P1s, and X1c and accommodate the different layouts of the printers electronics. IF THEY HAD just made the wire and connector coming out of the led a little longer, you wouldn't even need the extra wire and redundant pcb coupling. I feel they only had a P1P to test this on, because with the X1c, where the stock light plugs in is different than the P1P. There was no spot to hide the pcb coupling behind the plastic housing of the printer's connections (above the camera). The wire being too short makes it an unnecessary install, if they had just made the wire longer, the install would be so much better and cleaner. Lastly, the new led is more of a 6000k led (bluer). It would be better if it was closer to the stock color (4000k-5000k whiter). It would be brighter. This is merely a preference, though. Also, since this new led is mounted above the hotend (unlike the stock being more inline with the hotend), there is always a shadow from the toolhead. This prevents any light from shining on the nozzle tip (if you want to see if anything is stuck to the nozzle). The stock led does a better job of lighting up right under the toolhead. The NEW led does a better job of lighting up move of the interior of the printer (primarily the front of the printer).Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and the results. I wish you could use both the stock led and new. Though, this is minor. The biggest issue, which would be a simple fix is MAKE THE WIRE LONGER OUT OF THE LED so you don't have to use the pcb coupling!Cheers!

Great addition to my new P1S!
This light is just what I needed for my new P1S, got it about a month ago. I didn't like the stock light in the enclosure at all. I saw this in a few review videos and had to try it. What an amazing difference!! And it was SO EASY to install. Just make sure you DO NOT run this light and the stock light at the same time, the power in the P1S can't handle both.

This light over the factory light is a must. World of difference.
Great upgrade over factory light. Straightforward installation, good magnet strength, fits great. Glad I finally decided to give this a shot.

Have a spare $200 on hand for repairs
This may be the cause of my Bambu Lab X1C 3D printer's AP board going out which cost me in total about $200 to fix. I traced it all down why my display was malfunctioning and started tracking to find that this was tapping the same feed. I a have other X1C so I swapped displays and no change but the display was good on the other unit I swapped with meaning it was something other than the display. After troubleshooting on Bambu Lab's site I realized it was down to this item causing the board to malfunction. According to a search on Amazon, other users reported that if you use this lamp then you have to disconnect the internal lamp. No bueno. Use externally powered light strips on a printed riser for the lid and be safe folks. Don't burn $300 or more because you thought this was a tool-less install. It is tapping into the AP boards power for the display.

Let there be light!
Great product at a great price and exactly what my Bambu Labs X1C needed. No idea why they don't put more light in by default on the unit, but it desperately needed it and thankfully this solution worked perfect!
