Good value for money
This phone I’m using rn is usable, online and does exactly what I need it to do. Obviously I have scratched it slightly since I got it, but it was perfect upon arrival, phone itself is used clearly. But for what I paid I’m good with it. Charges fairly quick, decent colour, it’s second hand so it is what it is. I will use it until it no longer works for me , I have never liked paying lots of money for a phone , so it’s going to be pretty resistant to scratches and has proven to be a great buy for the price

Brilliant!
Purchased this phone for my other half who is a gardener. With on how quickly he damages his phone we thought a second hand phone would be better. CEX charge a fortune for their second hand phones so when I found this phone for so cheap I was a little nervous of the state of the phone I’d ordered… I had nothing to worry about! The phone came a day before expected. Looking at the phone it is in mint condition like no one else had ever owned the phone. The battery capacity is at 90% which is really good for an iPhone 8. I think I will be buying myself a phone from this company soon.

The only difference from a new phone that I can see is the box it comes in
Yes, I hesitated to buy a second hand refurbished iPhone. My iPhone 6 has served me well and done everything I wanted from a phone for years. I don't feel under pressure to pack the latest upgrade but something needed to be done when the battery life started dropping out. That coupled with a few dings and a screen crack made repair unrealistic. I didn't want to shell out £800 or so on a new phone and I didn't want to enter into a new contact (I'm very happy with my current SIM only provider). So backed by Amazon's return/refund protection I went ahead and bought a refurbished unlocked iPhone 8 for £228 from Ultimo Electronics. I'm still sure they sent me a brand new phone by accident. The only difference I can see is the box it came in. There's not a mark on it. It works perfectly including battery life which they do warn you might be slightly less than on a new phone but mine hasn't run out yet with normal usage and occasional daily charging. (Incidentally, I love the wireless charging feature on iPhone 8 up). So 5 stars all round.Fair play to Apple for their commitment to component recycling and extraction free supply of materials for new phones. However, if a refurbished model offers you all the performance you want and you care about the impact of manufacturing upon the environment then this is a light footprint and affordable way to upgrade your phone. Go for it!

Don’t risk it!
The first renewed phone I bought did the job well for a couple of years and so I felt confident enough to buy another to replace it not so long ago. I’m so disappointed - he battery is hopeless - it does not hold charge. The phone is no better than the old one.You may be lucky if you take a chance … I won’t risk it again!

The second phone I've owned 10/10
Long ago, when apple still made phones worth buying, that weren't laced with planned obselesence....This phone reigned untouched.60hz, 2000mah battery. Bright screen.....Reminded me of my first ever phone, the iPhone 6s, I felt right at home.I wish apple would make phones like these still, maybe just maybe I wouldn't be typing this essay on the now superior android.

Before you buy, you need to know the following...
The phone worked and is renewed but it you need to take into account the following before purchasing:- The screen I had was not official so true tone isn't available at all (Not visible in settings).- The screen did not have the same brightness as an original iPhone, dim on the renewed phone was almost impossible to see anything on the screen.- The battery has been replaced and iOS complained about how it needed servicing. (My reason for returning the phone) The battery was very intermittent, one minute it was losing 5% a second - the next it was staying at 1% for 2 hours.- Both cameras were changed, with the selfie camera dating to 2016 and the front camera was from another iPhone 8. All functionality like 4k 60fps recording and Slow Mo worked perfectly with no issues.Although these may not be deal breakers for you, at least consider that these are the types of issues you may face with purchasing a renewed phone. I recommend checking the phone using 3utools when you receive it as well.
