This was a great gift for our 4 yr old grandson. It was a building project in itself which he enjoyed! The set up of the track/spiral is at a great angle so that the cars really move. Elevator thing worked well too. It appears that there are other pieces that would connect so maybe an ideal for future gifts. It is a good size (as he is getting big) so it didn’t feel like a ‘baby’ toy. Perfect for gift and worth the money.

This was a hit right out of the box for my grandkids. It is sturdy and of the quality you'd expect from Matchbox. The best part about it is that it has longevity in the play value. The kids start playing with it and want to see more and more and more cars go down. We leave it out on the play table because they love it that much. Easy to use and you can attach other Matchbox play sets to the base. We're working on making an entire city around this playset. Holds a lot of vehicles, connects easily, doesn't take up a huge amount of space.

My son enjoys this car set a lot. It's been taken apart and put back together many times and is holding up well. He's had hours of fun loading the ramp with cars and then releasing the gate at the bottom.

My son loves this and is thrilled with it. Be aware you will have to apply lots of stickers; fortunately they are the thicker sticker paper that allows you to position them easier. I am highly disappointed in fitment of the plastic interconnects. They're supposed to snap. About half of these just press in and come detached on their own. The pieces are there for snapping, but the quality is poor so the joints are loose. The only thing holding many of the pieces in is friction and as soon as you move the set, they will pop out. This includes the base flooring that everything sits on. Why the set doesn't have other pieces connecting across every floor/base section to reinforce them is beyond me. I had to use some plastic epoxy in the joints to hold this together because it would quite literally come apart as soon as it was lifted up. This is clearly meant to connect to other Matchbox sets, but I think we'll stick with Hot Wheels from now on.

The Matchbox Toy Vehicles & Playset (with garage, spiral ramp, elevator) was a big Christmas hit! My kids love loading cars, using the kid-powered elevator, and racing down ramps. Durable, lots of action features, works great with other Matchbox cars. Keeps them entertained for hours — highly recommend!

Awesome matchbox toy - reminds us of the old school matcbox toys. Includes a working car elevator, gates and buttons to push. My son loves it!

We bought this for our grandchildren, aged 4,3 and 2. They all play with it in their own way and all of them really enjoy it. It's good that you can add to it with vehicles and various other buildings. We bought some extra cars and added a police station set that attaches at the base. As they get older we can keep freshening it up with additions. It took a bit of time to assemble and attach all the stickers but it's a good size, not too big but big enough and it's good value.

My grandson loves this toy. He plays with it for hours. It does take some time to put it together.
