Biltong SPICE - 200g - CHILLI Flavour - GLUTEN, ALLERGEN and MSG Free - by The Biltong Company

I made a biltong box a few months back to start making my own biltong. I have brought biltong from this company many times over the years and always tastes great so i ordered the chili seasoning to use on my own beef. It tastes just like the biltong brought straight from the company! They recommend via their website that 40g of seasoning should be used for every 1kg of meat. This is a perfect ratio and leaves the biltong tasting great, full of flavor and a nice chili spice kick!Ive now made 12 batches of bitong and have gone through 6 packs of this stuff, its perfect, will continue to use.

The chilli flavour for biltong making is perfect

Shame the flavour is really nice but it’s too salty.

No chilli flavour just pure salt... don't waste your money just buy a tub of salt if that's what you're into .... my dogs won't even eat it

Made biltong and my family enjoyed the spice.

Got 3 just to make sure and love it! I used this twice already and thought it had a bit too much sugar making it a bit sweet however the chilli taste overides this to make it a great slow burn. Will buy again.

I tastes pretty good

I have never used this mix before, but the smell and flavour were good initially. The Jerky however, was so unbelievably hot it was inedible- and sent both myself and my Wife into two days of agony. The heat was around 9.5 out of 10 which warrants a warning in my opinion.Might be good for those used to such heats, but for (what I would call) a more sensitive palette, this stuff is unusable.
