Dell Latitude 5400 14.0" Laptop, Intel i5-8365U, 16GB Ram, 512GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro, Black (Renewed)

This a good quality laptop which is advertised as 'renewed' but look pristine and as if it is brand new! There wasn't a mark anywhere on it and it came in a proper laptop box, which contained the warranty cards and user instructions. 16GB of memory is really fast and more than enough for the average home user and the supplied 512GB SSD hard drive is more than enough for any home user. The battery was 45% on arrival but charged to 100% within 2 hours. There was no noticeable heat from the charger and it identified immediately once plugged into the laptop. The laptop is fairly light weight ( if you are carrying it around). The screen was crystal clear and could be adjusted quickly for brightness from keys on the 'F menu' row of buttons. As a refurbished laptop and coming from a totally reputable brand it is definitely value for money compared to similar models that carry a much heftier price advertised as new. The Windows 11 Pro is a definite bonus, allowing the user to still have the laptop on a 'local' account before Microsoft disables that feature. It has all the USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports that the average user needs plus the option of HDMI for extending a second screen. Really more than happy that I bought this one and can personally recommend it worthy of a good review.

This a good thing, no faults, no scratches and finger spots - I would say that it is in a premium condition. Its OS requires some adjustment to your personal needs as well as downloading recent drivers on the Dell website. A good and reliable package.

It was what it purported to be - a very competent laptop giving decent performance. All computers are a compromise between cost, size, weight and performance; this one was an excellent price for adequate size, weight and performance. I am not sure if it was not made clear in the listing, or if I failed to notice, but this laptop came with a US keyboard layout that was a disappointment for this UK user (but it could have been worse - I have used French and Dutch laptops!). Anyway, who looks at the keyboard? Overall: very happy.

Dell laptop was working for about 5 minutes then the laptop wouldn't boot up properly, kept saying needed to reboot coz it couldn't boot up from switching on so it had to keep rebooting, plus the battery was not the best after charging up the laptop battery, I tried to turn the laptop on the next morning after I had charged it the day before but nothing the laptop wouldn't stay on it would switch itself off after 2 seconds so I plugged in the power cord and the laptop came on after rebooting a couple of times I noticed the battery was completely dead no power in the battery at all, so I had to send the dell laptop back for a refund which I never received and coz it was a faulty laptop I was supposed to be refunded the shipping costs which I never received either so I will never purchase anything that is supposed to be refurbished ever again as the entire experience was very expensive. To me the screws at the bottom of the laptop was never removed as there was no marks on the screw heads coz if it was actually refurbished the screws would have slight damage or scratches on the heads of the screws no damage or marks on the screws it looked like it just came from the manufacturer as it appears it was not taken apart to do any kind refurbishment of the dell laptop as the battery inside the dell laptop was beyond useless as it couldn't hold charge overnight as I had to plug in the power cord to get it to function the next morning as there was zero power in the battery.

Bought for my daughter for xmas, and it was like mint. Very impressed and she is also playing Sims4 on it, as well as her a-level work...sometimes.

Really pleased with laptop. Quick enough for my needs. Just accounting software and web based graphic design software and the odd spreadsheet but compared to my old one it’s rapid, especially when online. It connected to my printers etc with no fuss. Cosmetically there is a few marks and dings on it but nothing drastic, the keyboard and screen are in excellent condition. Can’t complain for the price especially as it was half the price of a brand new one. Charging lead in very good condition. It’s not bulky or heavy either so I can easily slide it in my tote bag.

it is good buy if you are techie , it comes with win 11 pro installed but if any thing goes wrong with windows you will have no chance to reinstall windows on it again as the laptop was owned by international organisation which inhibit you to run the laptop with new installation of windows , the best way is to clone the SSD straight away as a backup .
