Simply measure the length of the dancer's foot by putting a blank piece of A4 paper against a wall and ask the dancers to stand on it so their heels touch the wall. Then draw a line at the longest toe and measure the length. Then compare the measurement to the chart below. Good quality but slightly uncomfortable
These are a good quality make and are as expected from that point of view. The only downside is the edge of the leather sole seems to sit right under the weight-bearing part of your foot so is very uncomfortable. Someone warned me about this but I presumed it wouldn't be desperately bad as no-one would buy them! These are my first pair of Irish pumps so I didn't know what to expect, but I must admit I'm disappointed. I've bought gel insoles to help improve comfort but it doesn't help a great deal. I've decided to keep them anyway and hope I get used to them! Re Sizing, I am normally a 5 - 5.5 in regular shoes and used the size guide on Antonio Pacelli's website to pick the size. They fit fine.

Quality dance pumps
These pumps are excellent quality. This is the 2nd pair my daughter has. Very hard wearing

Not accurate size
Great quality but not accurate sizing. I ordered a 2 but measured the same as a size 13. Luckily I have another daughter with smaller feet so gave these to her. My advice would be order 2-3 sizes up.

Comfortable
I buy these for my grandchildren for their Irish dancing lessons. They love them and tell me they are very comfortable.

Antonio Pacelli 'Loop' Irish dancing pump. Size 10 CHILDRENS
Pleased with my purchase but they are expensive. Came well packaged and arrived very promptly. This was a gift for our granddaughter for highland dancing but on reflection I think I should have bought Highland pumps with a left and right foot.
