Good fit for SRAM Avid, Semi-Metallic compound meets most needs
These are basic unbranded budget pads that do the job and great value at £7 (Nov '24)for 2 sets. The semi -metallic compiund is a good compromise between organic (Resin) and sintered (metalled) pads so good for most riding comditions with better heat resistance than organic but still ok initial bite.The counpiound itself is ok, not the best semi metallic ever, it seems lower on the embedded metallic flakes, so these are clearly aimed at you everyday rider, not a hard or demanind rider who wil likely be spending 3 x as much on one pair of pads.
