I ordered this to protect my sofa and loveseat. The add said waterproof. I have a large dog tat licks constantly. These clean up nicely in the washer but when he licks, it goes right thru the cover and makes a not very nice to sit in wet spot all the way into my furniture.

I have 3 cats....protects my leather couch and chairs. I use a hand held vacuum cleaner and wash on delicate. I dry outside and it is holding up real good. I actually bought 2 of everything so when i wash them i can put on other set while the others are drying...

This cover is soft, protects the seats of my sofa and stays in place well.
