85” of sports glory that’s also a true all-around performer!
I use this in a bright room where the TV sits opposite 4 large windows. I use it primarily for sports during the day and night. Secondary use is news, shows, and movies at night. It “replaced” a 83” LG G5 that went upstairs for movies. I will say that I was surprised the LG handled the direct glare better but both are excellent in that regard. Sports are crisp, clean, and very colorful (punchy) with a true 4k broadcast. But a top tier TV is going to make it quickly obvious that most live TV broadcasts are generally poor quality. That’s where Sony’s XR processor shines. It will upscale what I watch most into a much better picture than it actually is. The LG processor is good here too but the edge is to the Bravia. Movies are terrific on this monster and only surpassed by an OLED. But unless you are looking at them side by side, most viewers would never know. This TV is just an outstanding all-around performer with a great user interface, Sony quality (this matters a lot), and is about $1k less than an OLED. If you could only buy one TV and had the money to do it, this would be the one for most families. Go Blue!

Beautiful, Bright, Superior Picture Quality & Contrast - OLED Can't Compare
The factory settings on this television are surprisingly good, but if you're a techie, you'll find the handles that you want for fine tuning. The sound is also surprisingly good. If you use the built-in equalizer, you can get close to what you'd expect from decent small bookshelf speakers. I've often wondered why dim, burn-in and fade vulnerable OLEDs are so highly touted. A high contrast range on a dim picture means that much of the content in a dark scene is lost. With a proper local dimming setting, the blacks on this television look dead black, and the image can be made bright enough for any viewing environment. The remote could use a few more dedicated buttons, but it uses RF; so there's no pointing. The TV also works with older Sony infra-red remotes and infra-red universal remotes. The faint, narrow vignette at the edge of the picture (shown in another positive review) isn't really noticeable in normal viewing. Since perfection isn't an option, I'll take this this one as a close second.

Perfect TV
This TV is a game changer in terms of picture quality, sound and excellent image processing. It's definitely Sony at its best. Images are perfect with a variety of settings for each type of Content. Out of the box the settings are Perfect. It handles movies and video games perfectly with inbuilt settings that can be easily customised if prefered. There is absolutely no regret in getting this in 75inch

Expensive, but still the Best Miniled TV
First off, I placed an order for this television directly from Amazon and they delivered a deck box instead. Anyway, the deck box was returned and I received a full refund. Then I placed a second order and the tv was delivered in immaculate condition. When it comes to the television itself, aww man it's a thing of beauty: bright, colorful and sounds amazing. However, to get the best out of this tv please ensure to tweak the picture and sound settings. Also, the issue some are having about the remote not working is actually due to them not following the power on/off instruction on the manual. So to power on/off you have hit the power button with the remote pointed directly at tv. If the remote is not pointed directly at the tv, it would not turn on/off correctly.

Incredible product
This TV is fantastic! I recommend it if you like watching a lot of movies and are happy to use physical media. This TV made my streaming look better, but the 4k discs are where it really shines. I was slightly disappointed that the display wasn't as dramatic at home as it had been in the store. The TV's in the stores are playing specifically crafted videos that highlight whatever the new TV's do best. Most content won't be as incredible as the store footage. Fast action, conversations in dark rooms-- I can't tell a difference from my old TV. Where this one really shines is with long range, high detail wilderness shots. So, nature documentaries look great. Or movies with epic settings, like Legends of the Fall, Mad Max: Fury Road, or even The Matrix. The color is much better, the dynamic range of light to dark is fantastic, the resolution is great. My PS5 pro games look incredible on it. Even older movies transferred over to 4k can pop with new details. I was surprised to see the weave of the clothes the actors were wearing in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I love the new controller; the buttons light up whenever you move it. The packaging it came in was impressive! No danger of damage while shipping. I saved all of it for when I have to move. I can't imagine a better packing system. Anyway, Sony did a great job. There's a bunch of videos on YouTube to help you calibrate it.

Serious Wi-Fi Failure on Day One
I had a very disappointing experience with the Sony Bravia 9. The screen has small patch-like marks that are only visible when the TV is off and the background is black, which is concerning for a premium TV, even though they are not visible during normal viewing. More importantly, the Wi-Fi failed on the first day. The connection was suddenly disabled for no reason and eventually stopped working completely. The TV can no longer connect to Wi-Fi at all, despite a fully working home network. For a high-end television, this level of quality and reliability is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this TV.

Stopped working after two weeks
Great picture, not $1000 better than the competition imho. I stalked the price and got it for $2k and everything was going great for two weeks then one night while watching a movie it suddenly turned off. Red LED on front flashed 6 times. I unplugged it, waited a couple minutes, plugged it back in and it came back on but there was a flickering spot near the middle, then it shut down again. Repeated this process several times, eventually it just wouldn’t turn on. Called Sony, they said the flashing red LED meant it was a serious issue and it would be a few weeks for a repair person to come take a look. But since it was only two weeks since I bought it, they suggested I return it to Amazon. Amazon did take it back, even arranged pickup, and refunded me but unfortunately would not just exchange it. Now the price is $800 higher so I guess I’ll buy a different TV. I really expected higher quality, less problems, with a Sony flagship model. I liked everything about the TV for the two weeks that it worked. Disappointed in the quality and reliability, I wonder what the failure rate is on their components these days. Looked up the error and it seems pretty common. My other Sony Bravia has been working great since 2010.

Love This TV!
One of the best TVs I have owned. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I got a cheaper model and had to replace it because I could not live with anything but the best quality since my other tv is an OLED. The tv has lots of apps and color is very bright. It is very unforgiving with subpar sources though! Decent sound quality with a built-in subwoofer!
