Not for long rang, but PERFECT for close small game
I tried a few night vision scopes to help with hunting rabbits on our property (we totally overrun and they're causing a ton of damage). I'm using a smaller crossbow shooting around 300pfs that's generally dead accurate to about 15-20 yards. I don't even need this range, 10 yards is fine, I can get that close, but the rabbits will scatter if I used a flashlight (they seem to really come out at night). The other 2 scopes I tried we sub $260, and simple couldn't be sighted in, the reticle on those would move on the screen so you had a very small window to make adjustments, and I ended up with the reticle in the lower right corner of the display and was still off. This scope seems to capture a much wider field of view than is displayed, so when you make adjustments, the whole image is moved and the displayed reticle is kept centered. I was able to sight in no problem and am getting quarter size groups at 30ft no problem at all.The build quality feel good and the mount is very solid. not sure why it has all the bad reviews, worked great for me and was the cheapest of the 3 scopes I tried. Only con I have is I really wish the mount was lower profile. If you're looking for something for closer range that has great night vision I would recommend this. If you're looking for something that works well out past like 30 yards, I would look for a more expensive sight with optical zoom, but for close range this works great the price this can't be beat.

Great optic
For clearing out pests works great only issue is battery life is sort of short but several 18650s on stand by work ok …. Only other issue is sensor is sort of sensitive to different ir lights at close range but easy work around

Full detail of the product yes I love it but will be honest
I'm a veteran and an electrical engineer I was not an infantry I was navy combat systems everything larger then a 50bmg was part of my job we worked on the flir system on the ciws so I know a little bit no expert on hunting but hunting hogs is not difficult with this night vision the swappable battery means if the battery gos bad put a new one its the very common 18650 battery rechargeable the housing is solid its aluminum I believe the way this is dialed in has no moving screws to come loose and not staying zeroed this optic can't loose zero unless the mount comes loose. The battery life is about the same as other wlbut make this the best option is the battery can be replaced I bring 4 extra batteries so I don't have to turn it off to same power or keeping it plugged in to a portable charger. The image it incredibly clear its incredible this is 220 dollars because this is more of a 400 dollar night vision at least. the quality is high I have 3 triton starstrike optics it works on the ar15 and pistol caliber rifles anything maybe not a full powered hunting rifle but smaller definitely works well. The screen is bright even on lowest setting I put a red light filter over the screen so I'm not night blinded it's easy and cheap to do and that's the only thing close to a down side. I put a magnifier infront of this optic and holy crap now it's a hunting set up we eliminated a whole pack of hogs in minutes with ilthis set up. I would recommend a secondary ir illuminator the one built in is great but a dedicated ir illuminator will make reaching out a little further much easier. Happy hunting everyone.

Bad clarity even worse tech support
Product charging port rubber cover fell off emailed their tech support 3 days later I received an email that they would be in further contact with me and I never heard from them again. The company's tech support is the worst. Don't waist your money you will be disappointed with the clarity and the lack of tech support for this optic.

Excellent entry level night vision
This scope is great for two things, toss it on a 22lr dedicated rifle and using for pest control or possibly a 300blk for hogs. Or if you’re interested in nods but don’t want to fork up five grand for the real deal set up.The scope is essentially a camera with IR capabilities built in, you are looking at a small screen in the eye piece. The scope is all aluminum construction and very solid, would not use the daytime mode for anything other than sighting in but once sighted in I have gotten very good groups at 50 yards

Cool, but not quite up to it
Definitely cool as a digital red dot sort of setup, clear view and sharp reticle, but the night IR viewing is trash. You need a supplemental IR torch to see more than 10 feet in front of you, let alone 50 or 100 yards. If the night vision was better, I'd have rated better, but for it's intended purpose of night sniping 'yotes and hogs, just not up to par. Shame cuz otherwise I really like it.

Great for the money
It is only digital night vision but for the process it’s pretty good. It is useable out to about 60-75 yards. I put it on a 22mag. Battery life isn’t the best, but it uses 18650 batteries so you can carry plenty extras to swap out.

Works as described
This works well for what I'm using it for, which is shooting rats at 25-30 yards. The IR mode sucks down the battery, but an external battery source can easily be connected and a spare battery is included. My .22 rifle is very old and has an obsolete 5/8" dovetail slot, and the bottom of this scope has six threaded holes i utilized for mounting with a custom bracket. I suspect anyone with a modern rifle can get this mounted in minutes. The zeroing system works well and at 25 yards I can stack holes on paper.
