Great product, however I found out after that Temu sells the same product fir about $120 less!!

This is a very good litter box. The two halves snap together reasonably well. I’m slightly concerned that the plastic connector will wear down over time. But until that happens, this is working great. One of my cats unfortunately pees straight back, which is why an enclosed litter box is essential. The way that the plastic portion hangs over the stainless steel bin means that her mess remains completely contained. I have experienced no pee leaking overtop of the steel bin. I also really like the way the top slopes to catch as much of the extra litter as possible. However, it doesn’t get nearly all of it, so a litter mat is still absolutely necessary. Finally, the ability to clean the box really is easy. The plastic wipes clean, and the stainless steel is scratch-resistant and doesn’t hold in odors.

This is the 4th litter box I’ve tried for midge here - the BEST cat, but she’s a menace with the litter box. She started peeing super high a few years ago, to the point where it drops down an enclosed box and leaks out the seam where the top part latches onto the bottom part. I’ve tried way wider and higher boxes, even resorted to cutting an entry into a huge storage bin (works for the pee issue, but she pees in the corner on the wall and the clumps sticked horribly and the huge bin was a nuisance to clean/try to hide. I’d been wanting to invest in a litter box that would solve this + not take as much room + not be a huge mess because I have a baby on the way, but hate to drop money on yet another box that claims to be leak free but actually isn’t when it comes to kitties with troublesome potty habits. Most of the top results for top entry boxes and or stainless steel ones ended up failing when it came to reviews. This one seemed the best and had good reviews when it came to this same leak issue, but I was definitely skeptical. Happy to say it’s been a few weeks and well worth the money. She took to it immediately, seems to have no issues with it (she’s overweight, 11 lbs and moves around easily in it). SEAM LEAKPROOF CLAIM - 10/10 Pictured is proof of her peeing on the TOP plastic part and it dripping all the way down…yet nothing on the outside or even in the seam. She does this every single time she pees, and it’s stayed strong every time because of the design. What we do to help prevent mess when cleaning the litter is removing the top part (after wiping all the tracked litter back into the box), setting it upside down, and wiping the pee areas on both top and bottom pieces to prevent spillage. STICK FREE CLAIM - 10/10 Hubby is on litter duty due to pregnancy, and had a lot of trouble with her pee clumps sticking to the corners and walls of the plastic bin. This has been a non issue with this new one and so much nicer/fewer clumps breaking apart LITTER CONTAINMENT - 7/10 The too DOES catch a lot when she jumps on the top before zooming away, however sometimes she’ll fly straight out and land on the floor. Even when she lands up top, she’ll bring some litter out but not as much as used to. We currently dont have a mat around the box, once we do it will be way better If you’re considering this box for the benefits of stainless steel/top entry/leakage issues…it’s 100% worth the money.

Great box! My Cat is large, mixed red tabby/ Maine Coon. (19lbs) and he has plenty of room to do his business comfortably. I'm glad I switched to stainless steel. I use pretty litter and it's so easy to clean up and change every month. Best part is it keeps my little dog out from trying to eat Kitty poo treats!

I’m happy, little girl is happy. Over 50 $ for this litter box but it’s probably going to be worth it …hopefully. The tall detachable surround is plastic but offers real protection from leaks and the litter she likes to sling everywhere. It’s a concern that the litter pan will outlive the moderately thin plastic surround though. I’m hoping the stainless steel pan will live up to the hype of guarding against leaks and odor. So far it’s been great. Also, It arrived in perfect condition (no dents or cracks) which seems to have been an issue for some others. Only 4 stars because the concerns over the plastic surround.
