Awesome work gloves so far.
I work at a state park in West Texas so everything here is trying to poke you, prick you, stab you, sting you or both you out here. Let's talk durability first because this is where this glove shines and why your looking at them right? You want a tough rugged glove to protect your hands! Well that's what you get with these gloves. They are rugged I have used them to clear mesquite trees and prickly pear cactus to help build a trail. I don't know how many times I punched or smacked a cactus or a mesquite trees. Yet I can tell you that not one single thorn got through these gloves! That's what was most important to me. Size I have average male hands. I don't have large hands or fat fingers. The size was perfect for me because it was not to tight but also not so lose that they moved around a lot as I worked. I will admit these gloves are very soft on the inside helping making them a more comfortable glove to have on your hands all day. I have used them as work gloves clearing brush and I have also used them as my chainsaw gloves as they work great in the summer because the cuff is so long that I can wear a short sleeve shirt and my arms are covered when I chainsaw or smash prickly pear cactus and mesquite trees. I'm going to buy a few more pair just to keep on hand as they are great gloves. Edited to add:Update they are a year old and still going strong my boss has ran through eight pair of cheap Walmart leather gloves in the same time. I was out in the South West Texas mesquite and pickley pear trimming a fire lane for our burn. I had a young very flexible mesquite tree with thorns that puncture tractor tires snap back at my face! I was luck to get my hands up even luckier because I was wearing these gloves! Now I did crush my finger and have deep bruising yet none of the throne went into my flesh! Blunt impact sucks and hurts but having to pull 1/2 inch mesquite throne from your body after it was impaled sucks more.

Best rose pruning gloves I have ever used!
I have used two other kinds of rose pruning gloves in the past, and neither held up, or was particularly protective. This pair, however, is great! I just dove into a rosebush that had a lot of deadwood in it and I worked in short sleeves and these gloves using a short handled lopper. Not a scratch on me! I was truly protected and worked fearlessly. The leather is thick enough without being too thick for my hands to feel. I liked the bit of elastic at the back of the wrist to keep them in place plus the adjustment at the top to hold them. 100% loved! A couple thorns stuck in the leather but pulled out easily with tweezers and did not stick me.

Great gardening gloves find! Great fit! Love!
I love these gardening gloves. I am pleasantly surprised! So far I love everything about them. I do a lot of gardening work and I rely on gloves that are movable, breathable and also protective. My fingers bend easily in these. They don't feel stiff and aren't oversized in the fingers making it impossible to grasp anything. The fit is comfortable and easy to get on. I love the cinch band at the arm that allows you to tighten so no debris gets down in your gloves I think these are going to work well for me! Quality seems solid and bonus they are super cute!

These are the best!
Update: This wonderful company sent me a larger pair promptly. They are perfect, and work well with my cactus transplanting. (My new, perfectly fitting glove is holding the pot rim.) While I did the first transplant using newspaper (messy, yet safe), once I watered the perlite soil (if new to perlite, please first read instructions, friends), you can see what happened. The larger gloves had arrived by the time I needed to re-pot the cactus pups, with far less perlite LOL. Do spines enter the gloves? Well, yes, although not like they would in another pair of gloves. I just have to be cautious, and I think one entered the morning I worked with them--but not deeply enough to touch my skin. (original review) Quality gloves, yet ran small for me I measured both hands as directed, and my hands fit well within the size small, based on those measurements. My palms were 3-1/2”, and middle fingers were 3-1/4”. I’m 5’9”, so I didn’t really care about the length or check it. The gloves that arrived are too small, though. They don’t reach my finger webbing, and I can’t make a fist without feeling that they’re too tight (both hands). In other words, they are uncomfortable, and I would not want to work with them in my garden. They seem durable and versatile, especially for any kind of thorns or spikes. I was looking for gloves to help with transplanting an overgrown cactus pup, with new pups (all with scary spikes!), a gift from a young grandson years ago. When its flower died before blooming, I figured it was time to repot. I ordered a medium in the gloves today, to see if that will help. I’ll return the small gloves, if the medium gloves fit. In the meantime, searching online for how to transplant a cactus, using thick rubber kitchen gloves and newspaper worked fine. Still, I like pretty and purposeful gloves.

Dream Come True Protective Gloves
Well constructed and effective. Made it so much easier to prune unruly rambling and climbing roses and wicked blackberries. Fingers pretty roomy. So even with arthritic enlarged knuckles I probably should have ordered a small size for greater dexterity but medium size still gets all but most detailed finishing work completed. They were soaked in an unplanned rainstorm and responded to normal leather rehab restoration to original flexibility Quality product

These gloves are great
These are great! I am currently trying to clean up my property, and there are a lot of bushes with thorns and stickers. These protect up to my elbows, so I don't come in bleeding after working outdoors. They are comfortable and hold up well.

Fantastic gardening gloves!!!
I love these gardening gloves!!! They are so tough that no thorn can get through them! I had to pull a bunch of weeds in my yard, and those darn weeds have so many thorns and spikes on them even when they are long dead. I tried pulling the weeds with a regular set of leather gloves, and the spines went right through them; making the job extremely painful. With these gloves I was able to pull all of the weeds without any of the thorns and spines getting through the gloves to my hands! Just what I was hoping for!!!
