Dark Sunshine (Phantom Stallion #3)

This is the third Phantom Stallion book I've read and this one is very similar in quality to the first two in the series. Once again the contrast between a wild mustang and a tame one is evident. Written at a level that preteen horse lovers will appreciate, the story is still entertaining for adults. While Teri Farley hasn't achieved the same skill as Walter Farley in writing horse stories, I recommend this series as the mustang/Western alternative to the thoroughbred/Arabian racing found in Walter Farley's books for any young horse lover.

this book was just as good as the other 2 I have read - more suspense than the others what with the fire and all - when I catch up on some of the books I have ordered, may purchase more of this series - enjoyed reading these stories very much

This book is a great addition to this amazing series. If there was more than 5 stars, I would rank it 100 stars. It has such a happy ending and a bit of a thriller in other parts. I loved this book so much. Now to read #4! :)
