Let me start by saying that the ship weight for this product is 150 pounds. I was a little nervous to say the least. So I got home and started putting the side board together. It is impeccably packed and not a single scratch on any of the pieces. The directions are excellent and all the screws, bolts, etc were there. They even give you some extra just in case. This is a solid piece of furniture and looks amazing. You would expect to find something similar in your local furniture store for hundreds of dollars more. It took me about 3 hours to put it together, I was multi tasking so it might take just two hours. It is heavy, so a partner to assist might be a good idea. This was an excellent choice and I'm very happy with my purchase!

I have looked for something like this for years! It surpassed my expectations! It was fairly easy to assemble.

Looks great. Very sturdy, not made of particle board but real wood. Assembly instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow.So why one star? Two reasons.1) attaching the back panel (which is thin wood, not cardboard like other cheap furniture) requires pilot holes to be drilled for all 26 screws. The manufacturer may argue that they are self-tapping screws and don't need pilot holes but any woodworker will tell you this is wrong and you should have pilot holes, unless you want to risk splitting the wood. So I'm having to drill 26 holes.2) I literally have spent more time trying to remove the stickers on this piece than assembling it. It's 2017. There are better options for attaching warning labels and information labels to products without gluing them so tight it takes any number of solvents, a hair dryer and hours of your time to remove them. Had I known these stickers would be such a pain I would have never bought this piece.

Some finishings are chipping away, wood is not very strong, you definitely need two to put it together. Color is true to the picture, I will not recommend this table if you have kids because it scratches easily. And I recommend to use a table cloths or something like that to use on the top.

These are solid wood. Well finished and the wood is of good quality. The price is very reasonable. Assembly takes some time and careful reading of the directions, but it is not difficult. Allow up to two hours to complete it if you don't do a lot of things like this.

This assembled easily and the instructions were clear. The holes all lined up properly and pieces joined without effort. The small screws on the hinges and the magnetic closures were a little tough to negotiate for my old eyes.I discovered a couple mars on visible surfaces as I unpacked the pieces and began to install them. A little disappointed but this thing isn't going back into the box! So, I'll live with the little flaws and try my best to tint them.Be careful, this hardwood is very easy to score and scratch. Protect the top and never drag anything heavy over the top surface.

Despite having to go to FedEx to pick this up as it weighed too much for them to deliver to our house, and that it took my husband nearly 8 hours to put it together and realign some holes for screws, I love it and it looks great in our newly refurnished living/dining room. The color is a bit darker than in the photos on line but not terribly. It is a sturdy piece of furniture. Something that would have helped to make it easily to put together would have been for them to go ahead and put the magnets that secure the doors and make the holes for the screws line up with the height of the doors. We had to remark and make new holes which was a bit hard to do with this being a very hard wood. I have no complaints and hope to enjoy it for years to come.
