Easy to use, and effective! My kids had been using denture cleaning tablets to clean their retainers post-braces, but this dental pod is so much easier and cleans so much better! Easy to drop the retainers in and clean them while they are brushing their teeth, and they're ready to use by the time they finish brushing. The pod seems to be high quality and durable, and is a great compact size that looks nice on the bathroom counter.

The Zima Dental Pod is a great device to clean your mouth guard or retainer and provides a very thorough clean. It's easy to use, you fill it with water, add a fizzy tab, pop in your retainer, and push the button. Post clean can be a bit difficult, as I noticed with the Zima Dental Pod, when you go to drain the water, droplets may get in the bottom of the device or power outlet. This unfortunately is what happened with mine most likely and resulted in it not working after 1 month of usage. However, the Zima Dental customer care team were incredibly kind, responsive, and empathetic to my situation and provided me another one to replace it. I ended up receiving a Zima Dental Pod PRO for my troubles and highly recommend it as it has a better design where the base is bigger and droplets of water aren't as likely to drop into danger zones while cleaning. Lucy who was the care rep that took care of me is phenomena! One of the kindest and supportive customer reps I've ever had, she has made my entire journey painless when I was on the brink of not even wanting to reach out believing nothing would be done...But she and Zima Dental has proven me completely wrong. I really appreciate all Lucy has done, from her kindness and follow up at each step, ensuring everything was handled with care. From one Customer Service Agent (IT Support Analyst) to another: Keep her on your team, give this girlie a raise and promotion! She is an absolute asset to you and deserves it. And to anyone on the fence about buying a Zima dental pod, do it! I love mine and enjoy my morning ritual of cleaning my retainer and knowing it's ready for the night!

It would not just clean all stains on the retainers. My old retainers basically looked the same after soaking and cleaning with the tablets. However, if you just start wearing retainers and put them in the dental pod religiously, it does keep them clean.

I purchased this and was satisfied with the product, but then I had a problem. The unit intermittently - and randomly - simply would not turn on. I had some initial trouble completing the “trouble ticket” form they provide, so I reached out to customer service. I was assigned a dedicated person (Lucy) who helped me complete the form and personally took charge of my “case”. As requested, I provided a short video to illustrate the problem. Lucy came back and said that it was clear that the problem was with the unit - not the user :) - and immediately arranged to have a new unit shipped to me. AND she sent me the upgraded “Pro” unit at no additional charge. No charge for shipping either, and she said I did not need to be bothered with returning the original unit. This was customer service at its best, and I’m very happy with my new ZIMA Pro. Lucy followed through at all steps of this process - keeping me informed and confirming that my issue was resolved. I would recommend the company for customer service without reservation. The product itself works well, but - if you have an old and well-used tooth guard as I do (to protect against grinding while I sleep), be aware that I did not see miraculous “like new” cleaning of the guard. It is cleaner, and I know it has been sanitized each morning. But it was simply too far gone to “look like new.” I expect, however, that when I need to replace it, my ZIMA will keep the new appliance looking like new.

I had a great experience with the Zima Dental Pod. It does an excellent job cleaning my mouth guard and retainer, and I love how simple and intuitive it is to use. The design looks sleek, the size is perfect, and it easily fits my retainer. It is also very easy to clean and maintain, which I really appreciate. Zima products are EXCELLENT for anyone that wants to keep a clean retainer. I have used a mouthguard for years due to teeth grinding and have found that this keeps it the most fresh and most clean. In hindsight, I would have purchased the Pro model right out of the gate due to the power of the "ultra clean" and the upgraded design which better keeps water from the charging port. Overall, I would highly recommend this product or the Pro product to anyone in the market. It's worth every penny.

The pod is great to restore my dentures to their original glow and texture. The teeth are so clean! And they feel so smooth and really did brighten up. I cleaned them regularly but coffee and cigs and things really did stain them but this stuff made a significant dent - I wish I’d taken before/after pics. I am very happy about the return I’m seeing on the DentalPod and it’s soooo convenient! 5 minutes and done! I did do the 1st step of soaking and cleaning twice and what a difference! If you want something easy to use for your dental appliances and has fantastic results, you will not be disappointed. I wish I had this when I got them the first time. Great product!
