Form & Function
This has come in real handy, I am 73 yrs old & have multiple Bulging disks in my back 7 the Dr can only give me a 50/50 chance that surgery would help so that's out.

Thank you!!!
I got this project following hip labrum surgery. for reference, I'm about mid 30s and I am 5'6". This item has been immensely helpful because it was very difficult to bend down after surgery or bend over. I was on a restriction for that first several weeks, and this was very helpful. Even now that I can actually do bending and stuff like that. I'm still able to use this on the bad days. It's easy to put together, and it seems pretty durable to me. Very functional item, and I would recommend buying it. It shipped in good condition and there were no issues with that. It also shipped very fast, which I really appreciated. I did not do my research before my surgery and I did not realize I was going to need this, but the other reviews on here were accurate and extremely helpful. I do recommend getting this item if you think you're going to need it or if you do need it.

Put shoes on without having to bend, but thread wouldn't align so hope it lasts
Able to assemble without reading the instructions. The pole is made of thick plastic. When threading the shoe horn part to the pole, it would not screw in all the way so there's a gap, which worries me because that's where the most pressure would be - pic attached. It's stuck on really tight that I can't disassemble it. We've broken many shoe horns, from long plastic ones (although not as thick as this one), to a mixed metal/wood one, so I'm hoping this will be our last one we ever buy, but I'm not so confident with this one. So far, it's held up after daily use for 2 weeks now.

Great value for $$, sturdy, easy to use
The best shoe horn! Sturdy, ease of use. Husband had knee replacement surgery and this has been huge help for him getting his shoes on without bending, pulls socks up too.

Good length, useful functions, but plastic...
...so I suspect durability is going to be an issue. For plastic, it's relatively strong, but because the pieces are all plastic, I wouldn't want to be unscrewing and re-screwing the pieces too often, because the threads are also plastic, and susceptible to breaking or stripping, more so than metal. It works well, but I don't feel that it is going to have a long life, with the entire construction being of plastic.

Must have for older adults.
I bought this for my 80yo mom. She said that the best gift she got in years! Lol. She loves that she doesn't need bend to put her shoes on!
