Some people just cannot get their barrows big enough ...and the Samson is for them. Trouble is, big barrows carry heavy loads, and soon shake themselves apart if they are not well engineered. As all County barrows, the Samson has been developed with the demanding end user in mind and is solid and dependable. Tray in tough high-grade Polypropylene/Polyethylene mix. 400*100 4PR block pattern tyres fitted with pneumatic tubes. Roller bearings. Front and rear tray brace. Galvanised main chassis with solid steel skids.

Enormous!
This wheelbarrow is HUGE! Even having taken note of the measurements in the listing it came as a bit of a surprise. It will certainly save many trips back to the compost heap.Overall the build quality looks to be excellent. And for its size it is surprisingly light. I would prefer that the two wheels be just slightly closer together to improve manoeuvrability a bit, but all in all this is a workhorse of a barrow and I am pleased with it.ETA: Now that I have used the barrow almost daily for over 6 months I am upping the stars from 4 to 5. It's true that the wheels being slightly closer together would help get round right-angle corners in the paths, but the quality is such that it easily outweighs this small consideration.

only design flaw is axle being that bit too far forward ___ good for tipping but unbalanced when pushing
Barrow put to work, same morning of delivery & pleasantly surprised it already assembled. Thus far, only design flaw is axle being that bit too far forward ___ good for tipping but unbalanced when pushing. My allotment is just over 1/4 mile away, part of which has no footpath but am impressed by load capacity, saving repeat runs. Loading, I'd recommend half or max two-thirds for heavier material, while bulkier/lighter loads can be full.Have made minor adjustments to SUIT ME, placing a light aluminium strip between heads of bolt, so protecting I HOPE, plastic from excessive pressure, (also would've preferred front bracing been nearer width plastic tub).Keep in mind, if you've a smaller yard that space to get Samson barrow through is three-feet MINIMUM.Other than that your only other problems will be learning to say NO !NO, you may not have a loan. NO, I don't need an HGV licence to push it. NO, it most definitely, is not for sale.

Great wheelbarrow for moving large amounts of garden debris
Great wheelbarrow for moving large amounts of garden debris. Only complaint is the appearance of a small area of rust on the metalwork.

Great large capacity wheel barrow
Light weight and yet with excellent carrying capacity. Perfect for heavy duty transportation around the garden, yet not so wide as to be awkward.
