I bought this so that I could look at some USB loaded files on my iPhone without using up space on my iPhone. It worked beautifully.Good purchase decision for my needs.

Products made in China lack quality control and based on my observation they are not functional.
This is the third time that I am purchasing iPhone to Lexar disc lightening connector, PC lightening cords for different purposes and all these China made products are defective and lack quality control. During search, I entered apple made Lightening products but still got a product made in China. Most cases the USB-C female does not fit the USB-C male and if fits, does not work. Also, USB-A portion does not fit the Mac computer.

Xfer from Micro SD card to external HD while in the field! No computer required!
This, I use to help transfer photos/videos from micro SD cards (used in my GoPro cameras) to SSD HDs in the field. Hint: my pickup truck is equipped with 2x 110v outlets. My setup setup also includes iPhone 13P/M, 4 port 110v USB extension, and 2x 2TB portable HDs, and Apple Micro SD media adapter. Idea sourced via YouTube!
